Asthma is not a genuine illness. Anyone suffering form asthma is just to lazy to breath.

I'm trying to understand this post. As a child, I suffered from asthma that was triggered by ash and smoke. I had several life-threatening attacks by merely coming into a room with a working fire place. I was very young when these happened, and I grew stronger after a few years, enough to get past this illness. Do you mean to say that as a child, I was too lazy to breath?

Of course you were to lazy to breathe. Look at what you said, "I grew stronger after a few years". As you became less lazy in breathing you became stronger. When you are lazy you become weak.

It was not laziness that afflicted me, it was weakness. My lungs couldn't handle the ash in the air. I disagree with you. Please consider that illness is not laziness.

Perhaps God gave you asthma as a punishment? God will give people illnesses out of His own free will.
