OFFICIAL STATEMENT, May 22nd 2011

Dear Friends,

Since I am suddenly getting a lot of questions regarding my Rapture Tithing Fund Management (RTFM) service, I decided to make an official statement about it. This way I do not have to repeat myself all the time thereby saving precious time I prefer to spend on serving our Lord.

As I told those who participated, the system behind the RTFM service has been given to me in prayer by Jesus Christ Himself! I assembled a team of experts, as God demands, to make certain that it would be the very best system possible! "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." (Proverbs 15:22)

The most ingenious part of RTFM, if I say so myself, is that in case of death or rapture all invested funds are instantly tithed. Thereby assuring a safe trip to Heaven for those participating as you would be instantly poor right before you arrive in Heaven. Of course this only works if you invest everything you own, as all those who participated rightfully did. "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)

There are those who expected to get their money back right after the rapture date passed and God, in His infinite wisdom, decided to give us some extra time. However, as was explained in great detail in the 278 page contract you all signed, this is not how it works! This is a Biblicaly sound system. All the money is invested in solid funds like the Japanese nuclear industry, German comedy productions and Dutch abstinence programs. These are long term investments, as those are the only ones our Lord allows! "A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent." (Proverbs 28:20)

Those who suddenly have an urgent need for money, can of course always step out. They will lose about 90% of their investments though! "He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls." (Proverbs 25:28)

To those who are scared they will never see their money again, no matter how long they wait, I have to say this: trust our Lord! "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

There are a few evil tongs who falsely claim there is a correlation between RTFM and my brand new villa. I am not going to dignify that with a response! "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD." (Proverbs 16:1)

I hope this statement will put those who are worried at ease. All that is needed here, is a little patience and a lot of prayer! "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer" (Romans 12:12)

I would not sully your clearly worded document by asking for an addendum to the statement, so I will just add it here:

Dear Friends,

With the date of the rapture now moved to October 21st, I would like to urge everyone not yet using Rapture Tithing Fund Management to become part of this amazing system. It will assure you a safe trip to Heaven in case of a rapture and at the same time it allows you to become very rich in case the rapture is delayed once more. A True Christian™ example of win win!

There will be a great feast next Saturday in my new villa for those who are interested. There are no strings attached and there is an open bar! Don't forget to bring your wife in case she needs to co-sign any agreements.

I travel a lot, and am on the road again, hoping to stop near Freehold (ten miles away, of course!) so I can feel some of that grace which I'm sure just rolls out of the town. So this is for those people that are not entirely convinced by The Bible, a way that should they come to their senses and realise that your church does not represent God they can at least get some of their money back, whereas as if they had tithed it directly to the church they would get none of it back. A sort of have your cake and eat it fund?

Quite the opposite, it increases the amount of money they tithe as when they die or the rapture occurs all their possessions are automatically tithed! Actually the technical legal construction here is that you lose all your possessions as soon as you join the program. So it complies completely with God's laws.

It is all a matter of planning ahead: "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish." (Luke 14:28-30)

All goods are transferred to an independent trustworthy investment fund. This fund is legally owned by several reliable Landover Pastors including myself and Rev. Jim Osborne.

So the foundation of this system is trust: "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning." (Leviticus 19:13)

So a person signs up, we shall take an example of one of their possessions, lets say a dining room table.

When they sign, ownership of the table is transferred to the fund, how does the fund invest the table?

Should there be a fire and the table is destroyed, who is liable?

If the person should decided to leave the fund before death or rapture do they get to keep 10% of the table, say a leg?

Would not a sensible investor want to understand the details BEFORE signing the contract?

As I have not joined this scheme the courts do not need to get involved, but it is important to the prospective members that such details should be understood before entering into any such agreement.

So at this point in time the respective merits of my leagal team and that of those running this sham scheme are immaterial.

For the benifit of those that may find this scheme attractive, I shall await a detailed explanation of the finer points.

To add to that list of points to be explained, how is deprecation of a possession worked into the calculations? If the customer had just purchased a brand new car, for example a 2011 Escalade (Base MSRP: $61,420 - $87,725) In five years time it will no-longer have that value, how does the fund reflect this? What happens when they wish to exchange the car for a new one in a few years time?
