If you want faith, the Bible says how to get it:
Rom. 10:17: So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
So you need to be immersed in Biblically sound preaching, which is exactly what you'll find here. Follow what we say here and observe how we apply Scripture to every situation. Also, I recommend that you read the Bible for yourself (all the way through, not just the parts that some hippy-dippy liberal "pastor" has cherry-picked) and take notes as to what you learn from it.This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Pray to JESUS and ask him to help you to read and to understand the Bible. Reading it through like a book can at times make you miss the point of what it is trying to tell you. Open yourself to GODS love and his word the Bible and you will learn that all that you see around you just did not happen by chance. A car is built by a person, you cannot have an object without a master builder. Just look around you, nature the animals all in the earth, this had a master builder GOD its the way it is..(2 Peter 3:10)
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.Comment

I dont have a terminal desise or anything like that, and im sorry that i cant spell or type very well lol.
I would love to belive in god but there is just so much proof against it.
After a school education and any scientific knowledge it is very hard to even conceive that god can be real.
I have also seen documentaries about the bible and i have seen evidence with my own eyes that proves the bible was written using DIRECT quotes from an ancient egyptian book.
I have read large sections of the bible and the book frequently contradicts itself in later chaptersComment

Is faith of any sort no different than "blind" faith?
Say you are being chased by a pack of wolves. You eventually stumble upon a seemingly deep gorge. You have no idea what the depth is, it could be a few feet hidden by shadow or it could be several miles.
In actuality, the ravine is only a few foot deep, but the thick shadow makes it appear to be several miles. You do not know this, however.
You could take the chance and jump, or you could be torn to shreds by wolves.
Which choice will you make:
A ) Have faith and leap into the gorge that you are certain the wolves will not follow you into,
OR
B ) Stay where you are and be eaten by wolves?Comment
