Wow! I saw a pie recipe the other day and it had a pastry recipe that I know for a fact had the wrong amount of flour in it by some arbitrary standard I am applying a hundred years after it was written. Therefore there is no such thing as pies.

In principle the burden of proof is on the side of the one, who makes the claim. So, when I claimed there was a giant, invisible elephant flying around, loving all of us, I would have to proof that and can not just rely on faith or on other testimonies.

But it's somehow easy to dis-proof any divine being. 'Good' and 'evil' do not really exist as absolute values and can depend on the situation and/or on the individial. What is good for one, can be bad for others. That is the main proof, that any God does not exist. And the Bible itself gives another one. Jesus was said to be the author of these words:

He set another parable before them, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field; which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air

come and lodge in its branches."

Matthew 13:31–32

That is definitely a wrong statement, no matter how one may turn that around. Mustard seeds are not the smallest on earth - neither in size nor in quality. Someone, who claims to be all-knowing should have known that. Once a carpenter, ever a carpenter.......

Mr Kinight, I was once a nonbeliever like you so I know how you feel. You have probably come to where you are from using logic, so I can help you find Jesus through logic like I did. First, if Jesus wasn't real, how could he perform the miracles He does, that cannot be done by people? Can you make yourself invisible? I once watched David Copperfield make himself invisible for less than one minute, but Jesus was able to do it for thousands of years, a feat yet to be accomplished by any mortal human!
