You're like the ones who thinks that everything written in the bible is true. Sincerely you should shut up and think before posting something that could be offending for someone.

      Pot, meet kettle.

You are an uninvited and unwelcome guest here. How dare you barge into a conversation and spew your intolerant hatred of Christians?

Are all atheists as rude and intolerant and hate-filled as you?

Now just a gosh darn minute there, missy!

EVERYTHING in the Bible is true. Do you WANT to go to Hell?

Didn't you learn anything from the Bible?

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Of course the Bible is True, silly!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

He's Italian. He could be a catholic priest. They don't follow all of the Bible and he might find it offensive that we don't hide his pedophilia like the Italian churches do. It's quite possible.

Calm down there friend, I am offended that you find offense with the Bible. Jesus warns you not to offend us by doing such an offensive thing.

              Luke
17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

My friend, the Lord is speaking explicity, in an explicit way that the litte ones, that is us True-Christians™, are not to be offended.

Re: What is it like to be an atheist?

Wait just a second. Is it possible that NotYourProblem has discovered a previously-unknown command from Jesus to worry about "offending" our unsaved guests?

Sorry, just a little joke there. I apologize if I scared you

NotYourProblem: We are here to spread the Word. Jesus told us to do this in what is called "The Great Commission". It was His final words that tell us to go forth and to spread the Good News of Salvation throughout the world. He didn't specify that we weren't to hurt feelings. In fact, if we weren't to hurt feelings, I would argue that we'd never be able to spread the Word to anyone at all! Christian compassion isn't about making feel better, making people content, making people's earthly lives better. It's about showing them just how much they have pissed of Jesus and are heading straight to Hell without turning from their wicked ways to follow us into Heaven.

I hope this helps to clarify some things!

There's not much to it really. I was a Christian before and being atheist is basically like being a Christian except you don't go to Church or pray or do anything related to worshiping God.

You forgot a few details. Like, "You have no moral compass, become a moral relativist, nihilist, and hedonist, and spend eternity being burned alive in God's Lake of Fire after living a meaningless life filled with hatred of God and all that is holy."

                      Hello Rev. M. Rodimer!

Regarding the moral compass, I still have the one that I used when I was a Christian. I do the "Christian thing" in situations. My morality is the almost the same as that of a Christian. To re-iterate, I have a moral compass.

As for the burning in hell, as an atheist I don't believe in hell either.

Then I guess you don't do "the Christian thing".

You see, upon meeting an atheist, "the Christian thing" is to reach out with love and explain to the atheist that mere disbelief, even in the absence of any "active" sin, is sufficient grounds for God to cast the atheist into His Lake of Fire and burn him alive for all eternity.

The same applies to homosexuals, adulterers like Newt Gingrich, people who work on the Sabbath, cross-dressers like RuPaul, Catholics and other idolators like Newt Gingrich, Jews, Muslims, Baha'is, Jains, Buddhists, Hindus, Shintoists, Taoists, animists, pantheists, Wicctards*, and Playgans*.

Oh, and Pastafarians, fornicators, Democrats, Liberals, Socialists, Communists, Scientologists, Urantians, Oprahists, Obamunists, and people who commit thought crimes (thinking about sinning is just as bad as sinning).

I suppose you're going to give me some twitty retort about how "Well, we atheists aren't able to sin, because sinning is disobeying God, and we hate God so much we pretend He doesn't exist."

                        Right?

*"Wicctards" (Wiccans) and "Playgans" (neo-Pagans) are subject to a particular disdain for in both cases claiming to be "ancient religions", both of which were made up out of whole cloth in the 20th century based on a few old poems and folk tales. The Playgans flat-out ignore the only written record of the Celtic religion, Julius Caesar's record of the Gallic Wars, because they don't want to engage in human sacrifice. How then can they please their "ancient gods"? Hmmm?

Allow me to re-iterate. I do the "Christian thing" with regards to moral choices. And you guessed it! Yes, because I don't believe in "sin" in the same sense you do, it is impossible for me to believe that I am sinning. However, I do believe that I can do bad things.

You call it "sin". I call it "bad deeds". You believe you'll go to hell for it. I don't believe hell exists at all!

                                Hello again!

Uhm, a lot of your post was about liberals and Newt Gingrich and pastafarians. I cannot really comment on any of that.

Allow me to re-iterate. I do the "Christian thing" with regards to moral choices.
. . . and I explained to you what "the Christian thing" is, and you refused. You would not explain to homosexuals, liberals, or anybody else that their path leads to eternal torment in God's Lake of Fire.

You probably won't even follow basic Biblical law, such as aiding in stoning a homosexual, or an adulterer like Newt Gingrich, as soon as the laws of the country allow it.

NO, you wouldn't do "the Christian thing" at all; you don't even know what that means.

Why did you decide to hate God, without even reading the Bible to find out who He is and what He demands of us?
                                Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!
