Officer charged with manslaughter after 3-year-old son shoots sister
Now how are any charges possible? I thought the USA was a Christian country. You are a Christian, right? And so are all your friends. We live by God’s word and so should our legislators.
I was in the garden beating the fig tree for failing to give fruit out of season*, when the above news came on the radio, and I thought to myself, “So why are the sins of the son visited upon the father? When the Bible clearly says that this should not be? The son should be hanged and that will be an end of it.”
De:24:16: The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

2Ki:14:6: But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
2Ki:14:7: He slew of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
After all, it was only a daughter who’s dead. Dear me, Jephthah (J'g:11:31-40) sacrificed his daughter to God, so it is not as if there isn’t precedent for this.
Please write to whoever is in charge of this mess and let’s have an innocent man free of all charges.
*De:24:20: When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
M'r:11:12: And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
M'r:11:13: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
M'r:11:14: And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

The Snohomish County Prosecutor’s office said Officer Derek Carlile
“created a substantial risk of death by leaving his loaded, unsecured handgun in this vehicle in clear view and reach of four children.”
Jenna Carlile, 7, was killed when her 3-year-old brother allegedly picked up the gun and fired it in the family van in Stanwood on March 10. Police said the couple’s children, ages 7, 5, 3 and 1, were alone in the locked van while the couple was meeting with someone at a store. read more here
