                Too late to complain now! Why are all these novelists so miserable? If only they'd read The Bible and follow God's moral standard. But no, they have to know better than God. Even in secular so-called "education" the novel is required reading. Jesus never wrote any novels which is a good enough reason not to read them. As unregenerate heathens many of us have actually read one or two so we know what's in them, the values they promote.

                EDIT It's time to get these "Novels" out of Landover.

                        The Bible is very clear on these points. There is a humanist agenda out there seeking to get in wherever it can, even into The Church. Obviously there are false "churches" and it doesn't take many of them to knock on your door attempting whatever lame intrusion has taken their fancy to appreciate none of them can agree, except maybe mormons and scientologists, and in particular cannot agree with The Bible.

                        People who disagree with The Bible are not Christians. They've been affected by a humanist agenda which denies The Truth. For instance they will say that Jewishes have not called down blood vengeance upon future generations. The Bible has a record of where that actually occurred. Catholics will announce that what they do is not turning unto idols, when very obviously it is. The Bible pre-empts all such announcements by prohibiting even the manufacture of idols (or whatever you call them) which in order to grovel before them (whatever you call it) clearly must have happened. Similarly, prancing around going “LibertéÉgalitéFraternité” have no concept of systems of government endorsed by God. They've just made something up for themselves.

                        The Bible explains how everyone is born already deserving of torture. Not falling headlong into unawares. Deserving of. Maybe you disagree with The Bible? Cast images, such as plastic Rita, are OK? Promoting humanistic secular government with elected leaders? Makes no difference: from birth all that's deserved is torture. Unspeakable agony, over and over again. Forever. That is the message of Jesus and everyone who does not accept Him, everyone who's made up a "better" system of government or "new improved" moral compass is contradicting God. Hell, and forever, is what The Bible teaches in such cases.

                        Some people say they're interpreting The Bible in accordance with contemporary values. That means they're denying The Bible and pronouncing God a liar. An honest person would say that's what they're doing, but we're not talking about honest people are we.
