If you want to know GOD, you need to have faith.
But Bob, you ask, how do I obtain faith? I'm glad you asked that question.
Here's a little exercise I do with my youth group to help strengthen their faith:
Get a poster board and dray a big line down the middle, from top to bottom. At the top of one column, write "GOD," and on the other side, write "satan."
Over this next week, write everything bad that happens to you under the "satan" column, and write everything good that happens under the "GOD" column.
At the end of the week, add up the final score and see how many good things GOD has given you in just one week! If GOD has more points than satan, he's trying to get your attention and asking you to accept his precious salvation. Get on your knees and give your heart to HIM!
If, GOD forbid, the devil has a higher score, you are obviously a sinful, hell-bound swine. Get on your knees and PLEAD with GOD to forgive you and pull you out of the cess pit you've lodged yourself in.sigpic
