I see another false teaching perpetrated on this forum, that is the disgraceful 'once saved always saved' doctrine. This unscriptual teaching, which leads to a sense of smug satisfaction and inaction among church-goers.
Salvation involves the process of sanctification, and is not over in an instant; we are saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved, but ONLY IF we continue with Him. If we leave Him and go off in rebellion or disobedience, and if we start loving ourselves and the 'broad road' more than we love Him, we will be lost. Salvation is IN HIM, and if we leave HIM for other ways, like the 'broad road', we will be lost. He has to continue the work of sanctification, which is all His work, but He CANNOT do it if we will not stay with Him, will not obey Him, and will not follow Him.
The grace of God will not override your free will - you can see that in Phil.3:9. Salvation is only eternal to those who stay in Christ.
