  • Appropriate Punishment for Republicans not Supporting Trump?

Twelve Republican Senators did not support the President's declaration of and emergency. This, in spite of the fact, unseemly people, including many criminals, are crossing our border every day.

We need to discuss the proper punishment for these traitors. At one point in our history traitors would have been hung until dead. Later, they would have been covered with tar and feathers stuck to the tar (tarred and feathered). Being put in stocks was popular. So was wearing a scarlet letter. Some religious groups shun members who do not behave.

I am so disgusted with these fake Republicans I'm ready to endorse some pretty brutal punishment. Putting them in stocks and having people walk by to shout insults appeals to me.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I was thinking about the same thing, Brother Mayor. Instead of punishing individuals, I propose that our Godly President should dissolve the Senate and the House of Representatives, and just take over all legislative power. If Supreme Court mumbles something about the separation of powers, then President Trump should also dissolve the Supreme Court, and just hold all of the executive, legislative, and judicial power in his very large hands. Then we should close all news networks except for Fox News (China is leading the way on the issue how to protect citizens from accessing websites spreading false anti-government propaganda). With so many surveillance cameras everywhere, we're also way on our way to controlling, I mean protecting, our citizens' every move.

And then we'll all* live long and happy under our Fearless Leader Donald J. Trump () for decades to come!

Instead of being negative nellies and voting NO these Republicans should have done something constructive with their energy, like amending the bill to be time-limited for, say, 2 to 6 years. That would allay their fears of a potential future, ill-intentioned President from usurping Congressional authority.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

This will probably seem naïve but if they don't support their own President, why don't they just become independents? In any event, there's a need for negotiators in other countries right now, Africa for instance, which could be offered as an alternative to the stocks where people sometimes throw things. Like bricks.

The purge has started, praise the Lord! This can only end well.

          https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/25/u...r-revenge.html
WASHINGTON — President Trump and his Republican allies went on the offensive on Monday, vowing to pursue and even punish those responsible for the Russia investigation now that the special counsel has wrapped up without implicating him or his campaign in a criminal conspiracy to influence the 2016 election. Mr. Trump, grim faced and simmering with anger, denounced adversaries who have pounded him for two years over Russian election interference, calling them “treasonous” people who are guilty of “evil deeds” and should be investigated themselves.

It's fine if someone else has a different opinion for God's sake. Everyone's mind set here is "Punish, mock, and degrade everyone who doesn't think/agree with me." Disappointing.

While the Democrats (like Woodrow Wilson) were known for supporting white supremacy, segregation, Jim Crow laws and the KKK (which advocated the lynching of blacks, Catholics, and nonwhite immigrants), the founder of the Republican Party, and considered one of our nation's greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln was known for:

              - Imposing Government Censorship (great for dealing with "fake news")

              - Deporting His Critics (haters that wanted to leave the country anyway)

              - Suspending Habeas Corpus (it's time to lock up Hillary)

              - Supporting Slave Owners

              - Failing Native Americans

              - Overseeing A Concentration Camp (great place for Democrats that love socialism)

              - Advocating Ethnic Cleansing

              . . .

Was Abraham Lincoln as worse president than Donald Trump? Is Lincoln---man who freed the slaves in 1862---as bad as Trump, the impeached president who
It just goes to show you that you don't become a great president and save the Union without breaking a few eggs - to say nothing of MAGA.

Now many of us would like to know just what Obama knew, and when did he know it.
              Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Really? Then it will be EASY for you to find somewhere in the Bible where God or Jesus say that.

FTFY, and read the Bible. You'll be amazed at how much you think is in there really isn't, and how many people have been lying to you about what it all means.

I just wish that any Conservative President could ever top Reagan.

I still wonder why anyone would think Capitalism could be bad. I mean, Hitler was a socialist.

I'm reading your comments, and am consoled by how much it's going to cost your parents to get you accepted to your local community college.

How are liberals gonna know the evil of their liberal ways if we don’t learn ‘em good with punishment proportionalized to their crimes?

Going back now oh, twenty years or so when the good Rev. Williams was more spritely, we had a senator who was a Democrat AND a woman! Damn near gave me a heart attack, what with allowin’ a woman to have opinions on matters of more importation than how to season a steak.

This wretchified woman, “Senator” Mary Landrieau, she wanted to come speak to my congremagation and have my endorsements for her re-election campaign. The nerve.

So I was inclined to says no to her people, but then I got to thinkin’. I says okay, ya’ll can come down to Shatter Creek, and when she pull up on Sunday just after my service, she walk up to shake my hand, but I grabbed her umbrella and broke it.

“I hope it done rain now, bitch!” I says to the woman. “Now git back home and to the kitchen ‘fore we finds other uses for you.”

Sure enough it rain that day and she got no umbrella. Haha!

That’s how you gotta treat people who have them views that’s liberal, to set ‘em straight.
