  • Patriotic Americans Need to Stand With Tariffs

Fortunately, we have a patriotic President who has no time for wimpy complainers. Today, none other than Elon Musk and Ted Cruz are complaining about tariffs. Farmers have been complaining they will not be able to sell this year's crop. Over the weekend millions of people protested across the U.S. whining about tariffs.

Donald Trump is about building the character of Americans. We cannot build character without suffering. Once we have adjusted to the higher prices and unemployment we will be a stronger people. God Bless Donald Trump.

In patriotic fealty to the President, I have increased my prices by 25%. Loyal Americans must fill the breach... ask not what your President can do for you or else you'll be deported.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Besides what you are doing for our country, Dr. Toole, President Trump has found even more ways to Make America Great Again. He has refused to exempt from tariffs the fake religious materials the Vatican sells to Catholics in this country. Beads and other dime store Catholic stuff is getting the tariff treatment.

Well, the part that gets me is how those nasty LIE-berals are making up all sorts of unkind, untruthful statements about our hard-working and dearly-beloved President Trump. To listen to those DEMON-rats, you would think that he is some sort of horrible monster, out to brainwash patriots! Nothing could be further from the truth. President Trump is 100% honest and caring, despite the nonsense that the lefties are putting up on the interwebs!

With DOGE and Elron Muskolini I see strong historical resonances with Brexit and the Minister of State for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency. As you recall, the creme de la creme of Britain's elite worked tireless to find silver linings in ejecting themselves from, well, reality and world trade.

One of the greatest achievements was to get pint glasses made with a little mark to show the correct level. Other achievements were:
          • Allowing the running power of vacuum cleaners to exceed 1.4 kW.
          • Allowing fracking if a way can be found to bypass local planning rules.
          • Allowing the use of banned pesticides.
These made the whole effort worthwhile, leading to the position be closed. Another success for efficiency. Don't worry! Rees-Mogg still kept his salary but doing other important government tasks.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I must admit that I am slightly worried with all that tariff business - is our beloved President secretly pushing some weirdo green/eco stuff? Increased prices on all kinds of junk will lead to people buying less new junk - and even trying to fix their old junk rather than throwing it away. Increased prices will also lead to people having less disposable income, both for buying new junk and also vacations. That will lead to Americans having what the eco-weirdos call a lesser carbon footprint (baloney if you ask me, my footprints are not carbon but whatever dirt I step on).

I hope this is not the secret plan of our beloved President! That would be horrible!

I'm with you, Sister Basilissa. We don't need any silly woke environmental rules. What I think we're seeing is a President who understands the big picture. The high-income people, Landover Baptists and Republicans in DC, will be unaffected by tariffs. We can afford everything, use what we like and throw away everything else.

The lower income demographic will take a hit, but it will be a time of character building for them. Make America Great Again involves both the rich and the poor. As Trump himself said a few years ago, "I love the less educated."
