Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work raising awareness about climate change. Gore, whose climate change documentary An Inconvenient Truth won an Academy Award, shares the prize with the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The panel comprises 2,500 leading climate scientists and researchers from more than 130 countries. Nobel chairman Ole Danbolt Mjoes revealed the committee had chosen the winners "for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change." Gore and the panel will share a $1.5 million prize, and Gore has already stated that he will donate his share to the non-profit Alliance for Climate Protection.

First, Jimmy Carter and now Al Gore, well I've just about had it with this whole Nobel group and their obvious Liberal bias. How they can award Al Gore while not even nominating President Bush (hello!! PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ANYONE?) is beyond my level of comprehension. I doubt that homo Al Gore will have as much fun with his Nobel prize as he has had with his Oscar award, though.




I bet Al's going to have to win a Teen Choice Award now just to get the same cheap thrills a year from now.

First, there is no such thing as "Global Warming." It's all a giant scheme concocted by liberals to ruin America by trying to curtail our God-given right to drive enormous cars to drive-in windows of fast food restaurants, and then throw the trash bag at the foot of a crying Indian.

Second, there is no such thing as a "Nobel Prize." It's a fraud concocted by the liberal media to promote the nanny state agenda through Eurotrash propagandists.

And third, at least as long as we Republicans are in charge, there's going to be no such thing as "Peace."

I would like to say Al Gore getting a Noble Peace Prize is an utter mockery of what peace is supposed to be about. It is a direct slap in the face of our brave fighting men and women in Iraq. If anyone should have gotten that prize it should have been President Bush for his work in the Middle East.

In a July, 2007 Discover magazine report, The famous Danish physicist, Henrik Svensmark, who is the Director of the World-famous Center for Sun-Climate research at the Danish National Space center in Copenhagen, has taken time out from his busy schedule of running the Danish Mars Exploration program to publish proof, once and for all, that the SUN controls cloud formation and that solar activity is ruining the earth, NOT CO2!

The proof is all right there in his new book 'The chilling stars: A New theory of Climate Change". There is no question at all that he proves, WITHOUT A DOUBT, that it is the SUN which heats the earth, NOT Carbon Dioxide and that cosmic rays create clouds and solar activity controls how many cosmic rays arrive to form clouds.

The science is all there and it is pretty obvious to anyone who bothers to read it, like I did, and to ignore the algore nonsense.

And the VERY BEST part of idea is that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A SCIENTIST TO UNDERSTAND IT! In fact, it is much better if you aren't. So this can be taught in Church to people who have no scientific background at all!

At the moment Dr. Svensmark's research is funded by the Danish Carlsberg Foundation, about whom Dr. Svensmark says "They have been of real support to me! They probably make the best beer in the world".
