Jesus is quite clear on this. He also is clear that there are many more offenses for with death by stoning is commanded. This is just one more reason for why we need more Godly Republicans in office.

For witches and wizards A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them. Leviticus 20:27

For worshipping other gods If there be found among you ... that ... hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them ... Then shalt thou ... tone them with stones, till they die. Deut 21: 18-21

For cursing or blaspheming And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him. Leviticus 24:16

We need to pass an ordinance in Freehold to legalize public stonings.

Brother I agree with every thing that you stated. But I am afraid that there are many hurtles to overcome, local, state and federal laws forbid such actions. We have but two hopes, the first is that a fine Republican like Brother Huckabee is elected or I am afraid that Freehold will have to succeed from the union. I fear that even Brother Huckabee might not be able to make all the changes needed. Succession is most likely our best bet.

I Ma'am Rashik, you have given me an idea.

Perhaps Landover could make arrangements with you to transfer homosexuals, adulterers, blasphemers, and the like to your heathen nation, where under your laws, you could properly execute them!

Now, we do realize that stones are not inexpensive, particularly fist-sized stones of proper heft. (We are aware that Sharia requires that the stones be large enough to cause injury but not so large as to kill in a single blow.)

There is also the possibility of infecting the stones with the AIDS.

So, it would be necessary to compensate your countrymen for the stones used, which would be buried with the criminal.

Given the economies of most Muslim nations, I am thinking a shiny US quarter per stone should be adequate. What do you say?

Rev, you are onto something major. When Obama is out and all the offshore drilling produces enough oil for the US, raghead oil will be pretty much worthless and the Mooslimes will really go on the warpath. Stoning our sinners to death will give them something to do instead of attacking us.

The Bible mentions more extreme punishments a few times, for example:

Lev. 21:9: And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

2 Sam. 12:31: And he brought forth the people that [were] therein, and put [them] under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.

I think we need to maintain the severest forms of punishment for their deterrence value. There are already so many billions of the damned in Hell, we need all the help we can get in making sinners realize that True Salvation(TM) is the way. If getting them to contemplate the horrors of Godly capital punishment turns them away from living a reprobate life, then we have brought a blessing into their otherwise squalid and pitiable lives

Stoning should not be the current Method of Capital Punishment. Lethal Injection was not available due to lack of technilogical progress.

Also, Capital Punishment should not be used as a whole. Christ has shown his mercy to us, and as such we should show mercy to others. It is better to have a murderer be brought to Christ, than to kill him before repentance.

Then why does God proscribe it as a punishment for certain crimes? Stoning is a slow painful way to die as opposed to hanging or beheading of which were both known about even then.

Christ has shown his mercy to us, and as such we should show mercy to others. It is better to have a murderer be brought to Christ, than to kill him before repentance.

Maybe we should only beat the evil doers?

On a matter of mere social responsibility, I feel that the justice system has been de-personified. It is all, "the courts do this" and "the court sentence him to 99 years." There is no real personal involvement - someone does it for you and you don't really care.

Stoning brings back the idea of Justice to We The People. There must be a certain satisfaction when a 10 pound stone hits the eye-socket of an abomination. After stoning a few people to death, people will wonder why the old system was ever thought worthwhile.
