How should the Middle East/N.Africa be won back for Christendom?

[Lost Sheep McUinnean]

A simple question really, given that these areas were Christian (albeit a flawed branch) from time immemorial before bedouin usurpers converted it all to Islam at swordpoint and turned the breadbasket of the ancient world into desert.

There are many ways open, but I was wondering which will be the best when push finally comes to shove.

Any opinions brethren?

Since the Middle East has oil, it seem to me we should send our army to liberate them and give them McDonalds and democracy.

As a pilot, I must agree with Sister Kitty. Some of my buddies that were able to stay in the Air Force (damn my weak knees and ruptured discs!) fly out of Whiteman AFB in Missouri. This is what these heroes do for a living!

Yes sir! These brave Americans risk their lives EVERY DAY flying nearly invisible planes full of bombs clear across the ocean to drop them on those heathens in the Middle East and North Africa. God bless the 110th Bomb Squadron! Hoorah!

I also know one guy, I can't tell you where he flies out of (security reasons) that flies an F-22 Raptor. Here's a shot of my buddy deploying his flares! Man, if that doesn't get your blood pumping! Glory!

You can thank Osambo for cancelling production of the F-22! Isn't it just like THAT ONE to put the lives of American children at risk by letting Arab children grow up to become jihadists!

Hmmmm. I was thinking that too brethren - but shouldn't there be some kind of show of diplomacy and offering of terms first?

Maybe free bible study or some way to soften up the low IQs of koran filled heads first to raise their level of intellect to be able to accept the Bible first?

Firstly, we should drop leaflets on Africa, telling people to stop reading their Korans and start reading the Bible, because the Bible is God's word whereas the Koran is a fairy tale.

Secondly, we should hand out free Bibles to any Africans who can't afford them, or in countries where the Muzlims are burning all Bibles as soon as they are printed. Admittedly, this will be more expensive than simply nuking the area, but it would be a good way of ensuring the Africans are reading the KJV rather than some false Bible.
In each of the Bibles should be a leaflet telling these people that if they are Christians, they should go to a certain country in Africa. I believe Ethiopia is mentioned a lot in the Bible, as is Egpyt, so maybe one of these countries as they are probably the holiest.

A few days later, when all the Christians are in the designated country, then the rest of Africa could be bombed until all the Africans have converted.

In the case of the Middle East, like Cranky Old Man says, there is valuble oil to be stol- reclaimed for God's Great America, so we shouldn't risk destroying it. I think sending in an army to "do justice to the afflicted and needy" as per Psalm 82:3 by claiming the oil to match the needs of Christian Caucasian Americans would be a good start, and we could then teach the ignorant Arabs about theocracy and Christianity.

Wouldn't it be more efficient to just drop bibles on their head? If we label the boxes as food they will no doubt be opened.

How do you reason with a bunch of people believe and invisible man lives in a house in the sky and sees everything? The idea is so insane you can't.

American needs to force the Arabs to open their eyes to reason, put away their silly superstitions and open a Bible.

There's a lot of oil in Africa and the Middle East, and I think that it's the USA's obligation to take it. After all, we invented the technology to drill for oil, refine it, and burn it up at a rate no other country can even come close to. So in all fairness, it should belong to us.

Since these Muslim countries insist that we pay outrageous prices for our own oil, I think that constitutes an act of war. And if it's war they want, it's war they'll get!

While bombing is effective (and lots of fun), and nuclear weapons even better, there is always the risk that we might accidentally destroy an oil well or a gas pipeline. Collateral damage like that is simply unacceptable. Blowing up a wedding party is one thing, but an oil well - it just shows how horrible war can be.


The horrors of war

The good news is that you really don't need to blow things up to win a war. Thanks to modern chemistry and biological research, it's possible to fight a humane war, eliminating troublesome people while protecting private property.


Eliminating riffraff, while protecting private property

Surely this is what the Lord was thinking back in the 14th century, when he sent the Black Death to clean out the riffraff. All those wonderful European churches and castles were preserved, and today make great tourist attractions - you can't believe the revenues we get from ticket sales, not to mention postcards and souvenirs. Thank you, Jesus!

I feel so fortunate to live in a time and place where - at the press of a button - our great nation can eliminate its enemies in minutes, without damaging important infrastructure. Surely, this is what the Lord would do, as He has so dramatically demonstrated many times already with his plagues and famines.

I have a dream - oil wells all across the world, flying the American flag.
