Over at untilabortionends.com, you can see videos of the things literally tens of people have chosen to sacrifice until . . . well, until abortion ends.

For example, this cow is going to give up Coca-Cola:

This obese pedophile and his preteen victim are agreeing to give up Oreos. I hope they mean the cookies, not Obama. Though I suppose they could give him up, too!

And this pervert has decided to stop lubricating one of his digits with emulsified cream and . . . ew:

Now, bear in mind that not one of these people is promising to give up the particular thing -- Taco Bell food, Coca Cola, Oreo cookies, self-sodomy -- and then donate the funds they would normally have spent to Operation Rescue or another similar organization, dedicated to helping blow up abortion clinics put a permanent end to abortionists' lives legal abortion in the US.

No, they are only making a sacrifice to show God that they are willing to give something up, as long as it's not too big a deal.

I'm going to give up death metal music. Not only will I not purchase any death metal music, I will not listen to it, nor will I permit it to be played in my church!

This is an excellent thread, Reverend. I like the idea of killing three birds with one stone by at once:

a) giving up a nasty habit that ought to be given up anyway,

b) impressing God, and

c) tricking the left into outlawing abortion over a non sequitur by evoking their sympathy.

I am going to limit myself to eight Old Milwaukees a day until Congress bans abortion AND contraception. Drinking Old Milwaukee is something I genuinely enjoy. If the liberals ever want me to be happy again, they will end this senseless war on babies.

You all say you want it completely banned. I say we put restrictions on it, I mean, what if a teenage girl is raped and can't afford to pay for a child, or if the child has a major birth defect that will cost thousands of dollars in medical bills for the parent(s), and then it dies a few months after and the family is left with no money? I know it sounds like its all about the money, but it sort of is, without money you can barely survive in the world today. I would be willing to give up A LOT of stuff if they could at least come to a compromise like this.

Hopefully this will get posted without Pastor Ezekiel raging again.
