Can you believe what "experiments" college kids do and get academic credit for them???

A smart-assed student wanted to see how drivers reacted when they saw a turtle on the road. He put out a fake turtle and recorded what drivers did.

He was "astonished" at how many drivers tried and succeeded to hit and run over the fake turtle. Then, the press got into the act and fussed about how "cruel" and "heartless" the drivers were.

Let's be frank here. Turtles are on the highways because they are stupid. They don't need to get to the other side, they're just trying to annoy drivers.

The more turtles we smash, the fewer there are to damage our valuable cars. We don't need liberals telling us the are "endangered" so we should "save" them:

If there were any truth to evil-ution, wouldn't we be doing the turtles a favor by letting the fastest and smartest survive? I guess the bleeding-heart lie-berals don't believe in their own monkey god. Also, what's happening is just what God promised to let us do:

Genesis 9:1-2: And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth [upon] the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

How are we going to inspire fear and dread in turtles if they know we're just bluffing?

Am I the only person saddened by the fact people feel the need to even ask this question? Anyway, atheist evolutionists would just say this is speeding evolution up by making turtles who don't avoid roads go extinct causing a new breed of super highway aware turtles to come into being so why do they care?

The only possible explanation is that they want to insert turtles into their anuses for sexual pleasure.

Real Americans does not care about any stupid turtles, they are just useless animals, God made them for us to eat, run over and have fun with. Humans are to animals what God is to us. We have dominion over them, we can do whatever we want with them. It's a God given right for us humans to whatever we want to animals (except commiting sodomy, cause that's a sin), it should be added to the Bill of Rights.

Why did the turtle cross the road? According to one turtle hugger it is to breed. In the interests of Obama's turtle social justice $3.4 million of our taxpayer dollars are being spent on a "turtle tunnel". I suppose they are going to put up signs saying "Turtles Use Tunnels" – and the turtles will likely file discrimination law suits.

Next they will be demanding automatic voter registration for turtles.

Florida is receiving 13 billion federal stimulus dollars to build roads, feed seniors, and save jobs. But 3.4 million of Florida’s cut is going to build a tunnel to help turtles cross a busy highway. The turtle tunnel has some taxpayers outraged.

US Highway 27 near Tallahassee is said to be the deadliest road in the world, that is for turtles. The highway divides two lakes. The turtles use one for nesting.

Dr. Matt Aresco is an environmentalist.

“Most of the road kills I find out here, they are not even pass this white line.”

Dr. Matt Aresco has been on a 10 year mission to help the turtles cross the road. His hard work will pay off this September, when 3.4 million federal stimulus dollars will be spent to build a tunnel under the highway.

“Even if you are not in favor of wildlife conservation, which a major part of this project is, would you want to hit a 400 lbs alligator with your car at night or have a turtle the size of a cinder block come through your windshield.”

The project has its critics. Pace Allen, a member of several anti-tax groups says the turtle tunnel is a waste of money.

“It’s outrageous, unbelievable, but I think there is a real opportunity for people to standup and say look at this example our governments, federal, state and local are totally out of control.”
