...and that brings up the question, (i) does the catlick church attract these vile creatures (ii) does a catlick enter a seminary where the experience changes his nature? (iii) Or are all catlix like this from the start? I mean - perhaps it runs in families? Is there any research on this?

The issue here is one of sin and not spin.

We are, as God created us to be, imperfect creatures and even though the Catholic priesthood has enjoyed a splendid reputation for being a bastion of goodness, enlightenment and tolerance for many centuries, the odd bad apple makes it to the basket so to speak.

This poor man's plight is no different than your "youth pastor" Marty, who has seen more young ass than a donkey breeder. People like these are sinners but our job as Christians is to forgive them (Of course they must confess to God through the blessed Sacrament of Confession) and try to help them get back on the Lord's path.

However, unlike the unrepentant "youth pastor" Marty, this Priest has owned up to his malfeasance which is his first return step towards the way of Our Heavenly Father. If you truly consider yourself a Christian you must find it in your heart to forgive this poor Priest as well as the predatory "youth pastor" Marty.
