    An Honest Mistake

    Mrs Bathfire again!

She decided that she would go to a "The Daughters of the Revolution" protest.

Unfortunately she ended up in the media at some "Iowa Women's Rights March!"

Oh dear. With all those pink hats, I would have thought it was a Barbie Doll Convention.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

        Yes, that's refreshing, isn't it?

        PS

On the left, just in front of Mrs B, there's a woman in a white straight-jacket with her nurse behind her - is that sort of thing allowed? (I know nothing about "women's marches"...)

I was able to count about five men in the photo. That's not nearly enough to supervise that many women.

I'd suggest you see if Mrs. Bathfire missed an announcement that the Daughters of the Revolution event was moved from liberal Des Moines to the west a few counties. West of Des Moines are counties served by Godly Representative Steve King. Rep. King hates women's equality and loves the Bible. He owns an earth moving company and I'm surprised he did not come through the women's rally with his bulldozers.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

All those trollops, they should just as well have themselves shorn. I'm spinning some lovely slate-coloured wool myself at the moment and was wondering what to make; there's not too much and I've been showing some friends how to do pom-poms. Of course it's 100% linen free and I will NOT be wearing it with my electric blue and lime spotted satin. It's flecked with tasteful crimson turtles.

                    Re: An Honest Mistake

I think every man here would agree with me that the only place women should gather in such numbers is at the laundromat, the women's prayer circle, at Sunday services, or the river - as in Shall We Gather at the River?

Anything else is treasonous and leads to hellfire.

I am going to a special men's gathering on the 13th at a place called "Therapy: on 52nd Street called "Cum Play," which sounds like a wonderful place to minister to those in attendance. It has something to do with condominiums - and supposedly they are giving away FREE condominiums that night! Wow! It is wonderful to be a man and have the ability to gather freely without permission.

“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.

You are so right, BrotherLarry! Women do love to do laundry! My concern is that if a woman's husband cannot afford to provide his household with a washer and dryer, (or a servant to take the place of such appliances) then a trip to a laundromat opens a girl up to potentially seditious influences. All sorts of people frequent laundromats.

Rivers (as you alluded) are probably a better choice for women whose husbands can't yet afford modern washer/dryers because they don't tithe enough. If any unseemly sorts show up talking nonsense, then good, Christian ladies can bear witness.

If someone repents, there is a river right there for baptism. If the person being witnessed to blasphemes in response, there are plenty of rocks available which can be used for a good, godly stoning. Then, the river becomes a handy resource for cleaning up the mess!

Dear me, The Lord always provides, doesn't He?

Ugh, that must of sounded like the Perdue farm at slaughter time.
Tell Mrs. Bathfire I liked her sign. I assume you made it for her.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                          Sister Handmaiden,

Of course, being a man, I had already thought of all the things you listed, but thank you for sharing them with the readers of God's Favorite Forum.

Indeed, Jesus thinks of everything (except Taylor Swift and Ricky Martin, of course) and His thoughtfulness extends usward every day. Sometimes I can feel when He's thinking specifically of me and I shout GLORY! no matter where I am. My ejaculations used to be a problem for me at my former job. I am so pleased to be self-employed because as a gnathologist, I can ejaculate in praise of our LORD at any time the mood hits. (Horses don't care about it)

Well, I need to go help my neighbor install soundproofing in his apartment - although I'm not sure why he's doing that - so I will bid you a fond farewell in Christ's Name. May He wrap His Loving Arms(c) around you this day and every day.
