Re: Check out my new Mag-light:

I have several very well used 2AA MagLites. I have converted them to LED using NiteIze LED kit. I also have a NiteIze holster that acts as a free standing unit and as a reflector for doing paperwork. I can study my Bible for 120 hours without electricity!

PS I am going to provide the NiteIze link, eventhough they are from the Godless Liberal People's Republic of Boulder Colorado.

Amen, Brother!! Just because the lights go out doesn't mean that you should stop studying your Bible!!
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Maybe you should try a special clip:

I would probably tie the light to the clip with a tight lanyard. Then the clip can be used to attach to anything handy.

I can't speak to the comparison, having neither direct experience nor a Word from the Lord about it. I do know that it is considerable brighter than the incandescent bulb that came with the Maglite in the first place.

They're offering a pen that will go and write anywhere. Why would I want to do that?

The light up frisbees are nice. The problem with playing frisbee in the dark is that it's tough to see obstacles and easy to trip over them. The same with glow-in-the-dark frisbees. Who plays frisbee at night?

I used to be spelunker and let me tell you something: I duct taped ten maglights around my helmet. They are lightweight and strong too. Extra protection against those damned stalactites that are hanging around everywhere!
                Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

You've never harnessed the power of your mag-light to perform tasks that would be otherwise massively dangerous with a weaker, feebler brand from those damn dirty foreigners?

I keep one of those wind up lights in the car in case of an emergency. They're great because you don't have to think about whether there's a battery or not.

There is nothing better than Maglite(r). Nothing! It's made here in God's favorite country, which gives it extra power. America is and always shall be NUMBER ONE, because God rewards us for our ingenuity, and Maglite(r) is an excellent example of that.

I have them in every room of my estate, just in case Jesus shows up "like a thief in the night" and needs to see better. I'd hate for Him to stub His toe on my nightstand!

Besides, Maglite(r) has so many uses I can't even begin to count them.
                        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

I'm in total agreement with you all on the inherent superiority of Maglite® flashlights. I prefer the 6 D-cell in standard black. Not only does it provide superior illumination and long life, it doubles as truncheon in case any undesirables are illuminated in it's focusable beam.

Interesting - I use re-chargeable ones. I find that the power discharge characteristics are superior to ordinary ones. Charging usually only takes an hour at the most and they hold the charge well.

I have a little plastic case to carry them in. When one set is discharged, I return them to the case BUT the other way round, so I know they need charging when I get home.

OK, they do wear out eventually, but they are good for at least 1000 charges and they give you fair warning that they are dying.
