I am oh so grateful of the opportunity to work for you. As you know, I had to give up my employment 8 months ago when my dear wife, Sarah, died in childbirth with our third son Matthew. Mark is now 2 and going through potty training and John boy is 4.

Through Landover, I have been blessed by God to meet a lovely True Christian™ woman, Sister Charli. She has spent the last 30 years looking after her Daddy who recently went to be with Jesus.

The boys are currently staying with Miss Charli and Pastor John and his wife Rebekkah in Perth. We will marry on the tenth of the tenth of the tenth at the Swan River Baptist Church. All Landover True Christians™ are of course invited.

I am sorry that I have wandered off track in this thread. But Mr James. I seem to be having a few issues at the mine. Apparently I can not tell atheist employees that prayer and bible study time is a requirement of their duties.

I have been reported to the Industrial Relations Tribunal. I really do not understand why. This bloke, Murray, reckons I discriminated against him. But I didn't. I treated him like every one else. I told him my expectations and he did not accept them and reported me. He called it religious vilification, but how can you religiously vilify someone with NO religion?

I am sorry Brother James but I am really having trouble recruiting for your mine. There are way too many bludgers in Australia not prepared to work. It is just too good on social security. Prayer/bible study time is only an hour twice a week. I do not understand why that should be an issue.

Anyone out there looking for a job in the mines? PLEASE send me your CV.

Are you offering Australia's prevailing wage? Let me know if we are still having problems. I can pull a shift from the mine in Sierra Leone or import slants from China. Its cheaper in the long run. Them damn slopes will work of a few bucks a day and rice.

Ok here is the plan if we can not find local people its time to call in help. You are the BOSS, call, email or PM Free Market Fred. Tell him that we need help from Uranus Corp. What are the staffing needs more than 1000? Have Fred import them from Africa or India, China is a possibility, but requires a bit more effort.
If we import workers, you can build housing(AFFORDABLE), it will be a part of their wage and benefit package. Attached is a photo of the one I had built in Sierra Leone. If we do this the imported labor will be paid in company script. You will have to build a company store to supply the workers with the necessities, food, clothing etc. Its a win win for the Dewitt Corp. All the wages are given back to me the company.

Brother Luke, are these legislation "issues" stemming mainly from STATE legislation? I ask because I know that in Queensland, they are far more... should I say lenient..when it comes down to employing (or not having to employ) the less than "desirable" for the position to be filled.

If that IS the case, maybe we can open a Dewitt Corp. offices in Brisbane (It would only have to be a shoebox interest..or even a virtual office registered in QLD), where all applicants can be "processed"?

That is something to contemplate should you have any further issues.

Thanks to a recent flood in Pakistan and the earthquake in Haiti last January, there are millions of currently homeless starving people who are ready, willing and able to put in 18-hour work days in return for a few cups of dried dogfood.

Personally, I think that the Pakis are a better bet than the Haitians, since most of the latter always think they can jump on a raft made of old tire tubes and float to the coast of Florida. True, we're already making a decent profit from the 30% we skim off from the disaster relief (not to mention how cheaply we can dispose of nuclear waste by mixing it with the milk powder we "donate" to the Third Worlders). But business is business, so we're happy to make a little extra by supplying desperate union-busting guest workers to the Australian mining industry. True, these workers are currently a little malnourished and weak, but a few days of that Purina Dog Chow should return them to their former vigor.
