Can Someone Please Tell Me What a WAP IS?

I have been hearing that word bandied about recently. As a decent Christian Lady, I don't go wandering just anywhere on the interwebs.

I go to Bible sites, of course. But I don't trust dictionary sites because they have no commitment to Christ and censorship.


So, can anyone help me learn about WAP? I have heard it used as both a noun and a verb and an adjective. This is all so confusing.

Sister, I have never heard of a "WAP" in any grammatical form. So this is mere speculation. My first thought is that it is a mistake. There are at least two possibilities.

a) Could it be spelled "Wop"? I believe that means some sort of Italian, or perhaps any form of Hispanic. Has it been applied to the Occasio Cortex woman?

b) Or might it be "WASP", written by the sort of ignoramus who thinks that Anglo-Saxon is a single word?

Life can be very difficult when people don't explain what they mean.

I hate acronyms. I don't know what a WAP is but I've seen "The Washington Post" shortened to WAPO. Maybe WAP is something just a few printing presses short of WAPO?

Oh, yes, dear Sister Handmaiden; I do know how you are feeling about not visiting interwebs sites that are not suitable for servants of the , especially ladies. One must be so careful, as the devil is constantly lurking and luring unsuspecting persons into his web of dastardly deception.

I Peter 5:8 " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour".

However, you have nothing to fear here, Dear, because WAP is a very innocent term given to signify an old English dessert recipe: Waldorf Pudding. I'll include the recipe for you, along with a link to show the site that has this version. This is most enjoyable, although I understand that for some people, it was the last dessert they enjoyed, as it was served on the Titanic. I do hope you will find this to be of your liking, and something that you will enjoy.

WALDORF PUDDING (or, WAP, as it's commonly known):

Ingredients:

2 large tart apples, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 cup raisins
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. finely chopped crystallized ginger
1 tbsp. Kerrygold unsalted butter
1/3 cup caster (instant-dissolving) sugar
2 cups milk
4 egg yolks, beaten
pinch finely ground nutmeg
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup toasted walnuts, halved

Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C, Gas Mark 3)
Stir together apples, raisins, lemon juice, and ginger.
In skillet, melt butter over high heat; add apple mixture and cook for a few minutes.

Stir in 2 tbsp. of the sugar. Cook for a few minutes until the apples are caramelized.

Divide apples amongst six 1-cup ramekins which have been oiled.
Place milk in a medium saucepan. Set over medium heat and heat milk until it bubbles. Take some hot milk and add to the eggs, mix and then pour the egg mixture into the saucepan, whisking constantly until thoroughly blended, add the remaining sugar and keep mixing over heat until the mixture starts to thicken a bit. It should look like a sauce. Add the nutmeg, vanilla, and mix well. Pour over apple mixture.

Prepare a warm bain-marie to cook the custard
Set the ramekins inside large roasting pan and Prepare a bain-marie (water bath) by pouring enough boiling water in the roasting pan to come halfway up sides of ramekins. This will gently cook the custard.
Place in the pre-heated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until custard is set but still jiggly. Carefully remove baking dish to cooling rack.
Run a knife around the edges and invert on a serving plate. Sprinkle with walnuts.

Cool to room temperature before serving.

Could WAP refer to mixed race mongrels like Camala Harris? Since they left their original heritages and countries behind WAP could be people "Without A Place."

(Sorry for my prior post, I do not understand why the letters did not appear? My son purchased a new computer for me and I shall have to take it back and have stern words with the manager.)

Sister I am shivering as I type this. I was on the bus this morning (don't believe in the virus and as such will continue to ride as is my given right!) when a gang of young hooligans got on. They were "singing" (more like chanting it was hideous not like the sonnets of a time gone by) along to a song called "WAP". I discovered that this is a pitiful contribution to the disgusting "genre" of "music" - "rap". At first I thought "WAP" was the result of a moron (this generation) trying to say "rap" probably with a lisp, but no I was appalled and shook to the core when suddenly one of the harlots exclaimed "on G**, that's one Wet A** Pu**y, girl!"


I am disgusted and had to get off the bus, not before I had dished out one of my renowned and rather fatal right hooks of a slap in her putrid direction.


Apologies for the disgusting tone of this post. Stay safe out there it's becoming a rather grim world.

I have no idea of what you are discussing, sir. I do know that you need to get over to our introduction thread and compose a post telling us about your relationship with Christ before you go and post bewildering collections of symbols here on our Landover Baptist Church forums.


Please inform us of your walk with Christ, where you attend worship services and which might be your favorite verse of the Bible. When you have done so, then you can demonstrate your knowledge of the Bible and how it relates to your own life.


Those are the sorts of posts that we encourage. That is what you need to be contributing. Your uses of asterisks and whatnot do not serve our purpose here.


As it stands now, no one here has any reason to give credence to your reports of hearing the term "WAP" discussed on a public conveyance. The people who frequent such modes of transportation know neither Jesus nor the English language, so what do their opinions on anything mean to us?

My apologies brother. I have posted an introduction post. I completely agree, the types of people frequenting such perverted methods of transportation have no opinions worth listening to. I admire this forum for truly stating the truth and not compromising on the truth written and laid down within the words of the KJV.

I am no snowflake liberal, so I am not going to make too much of a fuss over the fact that I have been "misgendered". But seriously, my name is "Handmaiden". Doesn't seem that hard to work out, does it?


Your inability to pick up on such an obvious fact does not bode well for your contributes to our church forum. In the future, should you attempt to discuss the Bible, it will be interesting if you make the sorts common out in the world, i.e., thinking you know what the Bible says rather than accurately reporting what the Bible says.

Returning to the topic at hand. Still clueless, I decided to google what a "wap" is and now I need bleach for my eyes, ears, and brains. My advice is, if you're as clueless as I was, I beg you DON'T GOOGLE IT. I am sorry, but who calls this sort of thing, "music?" Is that the sort of thing that men watch and listen to when they go to a certain type of establishments?

Am I correct in thinking it is related to the cursed rap "music"? If so those responsible should be burned at the stake along with their wretched cassettes and CDs.
