Women can still be in leadership without thinking for themselves. Sarah Palin lets God do all the thinking for her.

Well, yeah, it's pretty obvious to me that Sarah Palin doesn't do very much thinking.
Then again, I think God would be embarassed to admit to having done the thinking for her.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. I don't think so. Look at this video. Sarah Palin requests that her church pray for our national leaders because "our leaders - our national leaders - are sending them out on a task that is from God." Sarah Palin is not afraid to share the truth with the entire world, even if the liberal media could use it to negatively impact her John McCain's campaign.

Re: Should women think for themselves? NO!

1 Corinthians 14:33 which says: women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
True words directly from the Bible. It does not hurt to remind ourselves about these things .

Re: Should women think for themselves? NO!

I agree with some of the posts above. The Bible offers prime examples of what happens when women are left to their own devices and choices.

"And a man will choose...any wickedness, but the wickedness of a woman...Sin began with a woman and thanks to her we all must die" Ecclesiasticus, 25:18, 19 & 33.

However, I am concerned about the potential situation that may arise. Take a devout christian woman, who follows The Bible by the word and gives herself entirely to our Lord. I can only approve of such a thing and encourage it entirely. Is she to be inferior in judgment to an atheist man? I have struggled with this for a long while. Perhaps other could offer some insight?

The unsaved trash of the world are the lowest form of life. God is going to send each of them into everlasting hellfire. Monkey-worshiping atheists are at the top of that list. God commands us to separate ourselves from such scum.

Rom. 16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
I hope that answers your question.

well, i don't even know how to start with this post. i guess i should just shut my mouth and say nothing? NOT. i woman has just as much right to talk in church as everyone else. how else is she to learn about the bible if she cannot ask. i find when i don't know something i ask and if you all cant handle that then take it up with god. i am a born again Christian and i don't believe a lot of what i have read here in this forum. i don't think you all know what you are talking about. i want to know what bible you are reading because the niv king James bible doesn't say a lot of the same things you all do.

We follow the Holy Word of God LITERALLY, word-for-word. God is timeless, and He never changes. If you have a problem with that, take it up with God.

We use the only True Bible, the KJV1611 Authorized Version. Take a look at my sermon on how you can tell the True Bible from the false ones HERE.

If you are a Christian, then why don't you have enough respect for God's Holy Word to capitalize it?

Also, may I ask that you girls make a thread of your own in the "introductions" section, and tell us all about yourselves.

You aren't a couple of lezbeans I hope.

God’s Word is timeless. “Getting with the times” means nothing more or less than abandoning His Law. If it was good enough for Jesus, it’s good enough for Landover.

Proverb:21:9: It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. Mouthy aren’t you. You’ll never get a husband if you continue on like a harridan.
i woman has just as much right to talk in church as everyone else.
God disagrees and your arrogance shows the very reason why women should not speak in church.
how else is she to learn about the bible if she cannot ask.
She is instructed by the pastor, by her father or by her husband. Simple isn’t it?
                                i find when i don't know something i ask
…just as long as you don’t do it in church.
and if you all cant handle that then take it up with god.
No Miss, we are here to tell the Good News of God. We have no need to take anything up with God. On the other hand, you do.
i am a born again Christian and i don't believe a lot of what i have read here in this forum.
What you are saying is that you don’t believe a lot of the Bible. You are one of those people who have taken bits that you like from God’s Word and created a God that you think you might like – someone like you. You are basically worshipping yourself, and thus are hellbound.
i don't think you all know what you are talking about.
Well, you’re a woman and shouldn’t think. If you bothered to look through the posts, you will see that Landover only speaks the Word of The Lord as per the Bible (KJV1611). You would also find that you are uinlikely to find anyone better versed in the Bible.
