Okay, go to college for six years of WHAT?
Education, of course, but more specifically...?

That means you sincerely apologize for your sins, and for being a sinful human, and recognize your inherent worthlessness in God's eyes. You must realize that without His grace, you deserve to go to Hell, simply for the crime of being a human.

Once you're Saved©, you will never sin again. You won't be able to. If you find yourself wanting to sin, it means that you aren't truly Saved©...how could you break His laws?

I never said salvation was a "quickie deal". I have repented! More than once!

Sin is everywhere, in every day! The urge to sin is almost unbearable, and people are fallible creatures. It doesn't mean that you've not really been saved...it means that you've been drawn in temporarily by the urge, and you ask God for forgiveness in prayer. Innocents break Holy Law through the work of the Devil, you KNOW this. That they became weak to temptation is a human thing.

Like you said; it's not a quickie, one-time, you're done sort of thing...it's an ongoing ordeal. You have to WORK at it. I can't just utter a few words and I'm magically pure...Each time you slip up, you admit your mistakes and try again. It's like "holy teamwork".

What you like. You are supposed to know by the end of high school. If you don't, consider joining the military for four years and THEN going to college. The Coast Guard is fine if you like the water.

I knew what I wanted to be when I was in the 9th grade. The one thing I want to be doesn't require college, the other thing is apparently looked down upon by Christians...well, actually, they're BOTH looked down on by Christians, but...

I'll never join the military. I don't support the war (I do support the troops) and I wouldn't want to be away from my friends and family. Also: it would make me sad to have to harm another living creature in such a violent manner.

a Tattoo Artist (requires apprenticeship)and an American Sign Language interpreter (requires schooling).

            1. I'm incredibly fascinated with all things artistic, and I think tattoos make a beautiful statement (if done tastefully.) I've been into art since I could hold a pencil! <3

            2. My grandmother is Deaf, and I want to be able to talk with her. I do this selfishly, seeing as I hate that I cannot talk with her as others can (who know ASL, of course).

...I also thought about going into the peace corps.

The Bible doesn't approve of tattoos. You would go to hell for giving them.

Your granny is deaf for a reason. God hates cripples. If He wanted her to say something, she would. All that hand waving makes normal people feel seasick.

How about the United States Marine Corps? They might make a man out of you.

That peace corps thing is just a dodge for getting out of serving your contry properly. The Clintons started it.

Simply put, now who needs an education?
Pastor, where in the Bible does it say that it does not approve of tattoos? I'm just curious

                    Re: a REAL question

Thank you very much, Nobar, for the quick response.
These marks you should not make upon your, or anyone elses body, why does this not include harming another person?
This could create permanant scars on their body.

I just see a bit of hypocrisy here

                      Re: a REAL question

If you do it as a ritual and to worship your body, it's bad. If you get if fighting for Jesus, it's good. How is that hypocrisy?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

                        Re: a REAL question

Then my next question is, how is beating a female partner fighting for Jesus?
                        Did Jesus beat women?

I would also LOVE to know what fighting you have done yourself for Jesus.
                        Hurt anyone immensly?
                        KILLED anyone, Nobar?

                        I certainly hope not.

Are you a mary-worshipper? A servant of the anti-christ, the vicar of Rome? They claim there are a strange number of Commandments.

Listen up! There are 10 Commandments.

God is reckoned to have killed about 2 Million people directly other than from what you'd term as natural causes. As Jesus is God, what's your question?

The Commandment you quote uses the word "kill" where such as you would use the word, "murder".

OK? Any less of an atheist now?
