I don't eat meat very often, but when I do, I like my steaks and burgers rare, my pork chops smothered in onions and mushrooms, and my chicken fried extra crispy. Put a super-cold Sam Adams on the side, and it's heaven!

You're very welcome. My mother got that picture off the internet and painted a huge canvas of it for me. I have it hanging in a place of honor in a black frame on my wall... mostly because my mother painted it. It is truly my favorite.

Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

If God wants us to eat meat, then refusing to eat meat means putting the authority of another above Our Lord. He most certainly does not approve of that.

2For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Paul is speaking metaphorically.

And what about this:

So God gave people lots of choices as to what they could eat. He didn't say that you MUST eat meat.

Nonsense. People eat what they like. George HW Bush didn't eat broccoli becuase he didn't like broccoli. Some people don't like meat, so they don't eat it.
