  • Re: Is Your Child a Godless Goth?

How can you, who are supposed to be the epitome of goodness and love, ever just assume someone to act a certain way without even knowing them?
Yes, I am a goth. Yes, I am engaged to a goth. No, I would never harm anything that did not seek to harm me first. And even then, there are other ways of resolving conflict.
Goths are not all the same. A goth may not look just like you, but we do have private lives outside the black and red (in my case). There is more to life than just finding groups to single out and hate, which is what you do here. It seems to be all you do.
Your way is not the only way to live. Forcing it on people is impeding on their freedoms.
Everyone in this country has the freedom to be who they are, believe what they do, and dress the way they want. Just because I dress in black, it does not mean that I am not different than you. Just because I dress in black, it does not mean that I have a malicious nature. It simply means that I dress in black. Period. End of discussion.
He's the tower of power, Admits no shame, Untouched, crushed, will remain, To one, to two, to three, to four, Heading straight for an open door, He can see, what he can't feel,
Without one touch, It becomes surreal, But it's true, The power lives, Inside of you!

      -sighs-

      Here we go.
If you people think you can judge ME, you're dead wrong.
No one but my God judges me...not even men of God.
Because every man is born a sinner and lives in sin.
I happen to be brave enough to admit it.

I'm not a Sunday Christan...I'm not a Christian on ANY day of the week, because I am a Christian on EVERY day of the week.

-I might like to have sex out of wedlock...sure.
-I wear lot of black, even all black at times...sure
-I like to listen to songs about taking souls or killing people...sure.
-I like songs about revenge and pride...sure.
-I've stolen and had impure thoughts about males and females...sure.
-I've hated and judged others before...sure.

It still doesn't make me a bad person.
Because I live every day of my life trying to help other people.
And I know that my God sees that I do these things with good intentions, and that's all He asks for.

I don't trust the bible, not even 6%. Because that thing has been translated over and over again, different versions, different languages, etc. Passed down through thousands of years, through all different sorts of "holy leaders". It's probably not anything like the original scripts!

It doesn't matter if I dress in all black or all pink. I could be covered head-to-toe in tattoos or take out all my piercings and have a pure body. It's not what's on the outside that makes you a good person: it's how you act and treat people. It's what you feel in your heart of hearts. It's what you know to be true.

I've repented twice in my life: no matter how many times I "sin".
At the end of the day, were I to die, I could stand before Gabriel at the Gates and look him in the eye and tell him: I've done everything in my power to help others and make the world I lived in a better place.

I am not ashamed of myself or of my life.
I'm actually proud of who I am, who I've become.
Nothing anyone says or does can change this.

If you are honestly the type of Christians to beat your kids if you catch them masturbating, think mentally handicapped individuals are Satan spawn, and that women are to be men's playthings for all their lives, you're sick.

      -masturbating: natural urge, natural reaction.
-retardation: cells are malformed in a natural process, it's science.
-women: even if we're never introduced to "feminism", we were given brains and free will, we are our own people from birth.

The bone from David was taken...

not from the foot: to be below him
      and...
not from the head: to be above him

but from the side: to be his equal, his partner, his companion.

I have said my peace, I hope you have a blessed day/evening/night.

You are supposedly a sophomore in college and you don't know the difference between 'impending' and 'impinging'? So how can you know what Japan is like? How can you know what ANYTHING is like? You haven't had enough experience to know. You ARE different than me. I have been all over the world, and I graduated college. I don't act out silly fantasies, and I dress in manly blue and tan clothing except in Church. I don't have to have red hair to prove anything, because it only proves you need attention. I expect you'll get plenty in Japan.

You do a pretty good job of judging yourself, VanPee. You have come to the right place to confess your sins. That's why we're here.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

              I meant Adam, I'm sorry.

No problem. That's why we're here...to put people back on the right track. Come again when you aren't stoned.

I've never been stoned in my life.
Nor have I ever been drunk.
                  those things are pointless.

I'm not planning on going anywhere.
I'm interested in learning how you think.
not WHAT you think, but HOW you think.

by the way: the name is short for "an honest vampire"
                  because I'm dark.
                  and straightforward.
                  :]

This isn't a pick up bar, VanPee. We'll see about your honesty, later, after you rack up enough lies.

So. You are a darkie like Obama and you think you are a vampire. So far I'm pretty impressed.

                        not dark-skinned.
dark in the things I like and associate myself with.

I think that some of the responses given at this site are sad.
Not sad as in pathetic, but sad in the literal sense.

shouldn't you speak with respect and humility, even to opposition?
                        you're MEN OF GOD.
some of the past responses you've posted have made me gasp.
and you bicker with some of the posters as children would!

why not take the higher road?
                        kill people with kindness?

No, it's not. You fantasize about fictional characters you read about in some book because you are too fat to get a date.

                              No, sir.
                              This is not true.
