Re: Acne – The Mark of the Devil!

Acne has always been associated with Devil worship. From the first image we see as a child of a witch; that haggard old crone, ugly as the pits of Hell, with bad skin conditions, warts, scabs and puss-filled ugly boils on her repulsive face...
The witch has small pox, not acne...

To the image of demon possessed child, who’s faces and bodies are awash with putrid bursting pussy lesions, blemishes, festering sores, pock marks and ugly yellow spots...
And pussy lesions, and festering sores have to do with acne how...?
Plus that is a movie ABOUT demon possession. So, yes. They are going to make the demon-possessed child look as horrible as possible. That is not allowed to be used as an example.

We have always associated bad skin with pure evil, and with good reason. Because acne, boils, spots, ugly weeping sores, and other bad skin conditions are usually either caused by the Devil, or are a result of thinking sinful, wicked or Satanic thoughts.
Pure evil? If that's true than just about every teenager on this planet is consumed by evil.

The Bible even gives us an example of Satan giving someone acne -

            Quote:
“So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.” Job 2:7
Boils and acne are not the same thing...

Jesus Christ! You are all idiots. I'm pretty sure you had acne as children/teens, so does that mean you were demon-possessed as teenagers, but just happened to become 'pure, sinless True Christians'?

I bet most of you are fat, lazy men sitting in their dark basement browsing the web constantly and that you are all covered in acne, and are too ashamed to ever show your face in public, which is why you spend time on this website, ironically condemning others who are similarly afflicted.
            I'm a goof

I had bad acne. On my fair features, they stood out like God's Red Flag, warning others of my sinfulness. I thought I was a Christian but having been raised in a catholic family, I only later realized just how deeply the Roman papists' devotion to goddess worship goes. What I thought was praying "through" Mary and the saints was really praying to the goddess Isis and her minions. Only through rejecting the satanism in the catholic mass, and discovering Christ and salvation through faith alone did my face clear up to be the beautiful example of God's love for a child you see before you today!

and actually, acne is just a cause in hormone changes that people go through during pubrety. so you guys are telling me that you never had one zit in your life. not one? i find that incredibly hard to believe, acne is part of growing up. my brother had it really bad, and hes the most god-loving person i know. explain.
this is proof that you relate everything to satan and never stop to think once that "hey, maybe there's a logical explanation for this."

Friend, God created the universe and everything in it. Why do you think He wouldn't choose to work through His creation? Obviously the hormones are responsible for acne, because God Himself inspires the hormones to go on overdrive for the sake of loving discipline.

You guys would probably love to meet a dermatologist. They must have a pretty complicated exorcism to get rid of acne on so many teens. Or is it the medicine they prescribe? It's the meds. Saying a treatable condition like acne is the mark of the devil is like saying that the common cold is a sign of premarital sex. I wish I grew up and never had one single pimple like you saints. Or do you even believe in saints? (sorry I'm still learning)

No True Christian(tm) has acne. Why would we need dermatologists or exorcists?

And no, "saints" are Catholic creations.

I'm a girl with zits and pimples in my face, and I've had them for a very long time now. Since 6th grade I believe. Therefore I must be loving Satan and of course I'm also a serial killer! Oh dear, I'm so scared
My acne is about to go away now, because I wash and clean my face, and also because I get older and therefore I'm not in the middle of my puberty anymore.

Thank you Cornflakes! Finally someone who sees the ridiculousness in this thread! Reverend, I hardly doubt that every baptist on this site has never had acne. You may choose to bash every one who doesn't agree with you, but there is one thing you cannot ignore. Acne is scientifically proven to be caused by hormones. It's a natural part of growing up. I don't really care what the scripture says in this case. Medieval artists displaying witches with boils does not equate to acne being the devil's mark. Let's have some sense.
