Thanks for your useless remark! There is only so much the medical people can do, trying to treat the symptoms, but they can do nothing about the cause in most cases!

You seem like an intelligent person by actually knowing God's name, but rather keep with what your are doing than to utter something you know nothing about, because it will definitely harm your image!

It does not mean you have demons if you have epilepsy, but Yashua did heal people from all kinds of sicknesses, so I believe He has the power to heal us from any disease! Where is your faith brother?

Re: Please pray that my epilepsy will be cast out by the Lord!

I just had to post here that although this other "Aaron" person does have some sound advice about Demons, he is not me and I have never even set foot in a Starbucks, let alone worked in one.

But I have encountered Demons in my past, as many of you are aware. But the Lord has helped me vanquish my Demons of drink, fornication, and various other debaucheries I will not list here.

I will pray that God casts the Demons out of this kind baristess who has come to us for assistance. Praise!

Now if you think that is satanic, I will have serious doubts about this Landover ministry!

You do not need to tell me I am not allowed to post satanic verses, because I will never ever do such a thing! I do not glorify satan, but only Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. If you can do the effort to read the rest of the article you will also come to the conclusion that it is only Jesus that gets all the glory!

I already described it as Satanic. Your definition only supports my conclusion and mere mortals don't go around "blessing" the name of the Lord! GOD IS NOT MOCKED! The best you or I or anyone can do is pound our knees into the concrete so hard the bones crack and PRAY for GOD's blessing!

The good Lord did me a favor by bringing Aaron into my life for without him I would have never found Him, His teachings and my brothers and sisters in Christ on these forums.

          Praise God!

Ok, is Aaron a casual acquaintance from work, or someone you haven't told us about? Because the Lord works in mysterious ways and maybe it is your job to bring Aaron to JESUS!

Yes, Aaron is a coworker with whom I do not often work. I will provide him with a link to this thread. Perhaps he will find Jesus through me! Maybe as the demons of my epilepsy return to God's side they will light his way to the Lord! Perhaps it was God's Will! In causing my injury He,
              1. allowed demons access to my body, causing epilepsy
              2. Willed the demons and epilepsy to destroy my career
              3. Willed I work at Starbucks
              4. brought Aaron to work at my Starbucks store
              5. Willed Aaron to enlighten me of His ability to exorcise these demons
              6. showed me the way to Landover Baptist Church
              7. explained through Pastor Al E Pistle that my allowing Christ into my heart was the only way to truly bring Aaron to Him, disclosing His Will at last - 13 years after he allowed demons to enter my body
              8. Willed me to send a link directing Aaron to this thread
              9. Willed Aaron to discover Landover Baptist Church!
              10. exorcised the demons from my body so they can light Aaron's way to the Lord!

Re: Please pray that my epilepsy will be cast out by the Lord!

                He finally gets it!
                ----------
I understand now, it’s a joke and a website that doesn’t seem to take too well to Christianity. I also understand why. So let me apologize to you and anyone apart of that website that has ever experienced anything but love from Christians. Jesus Christ loves everyone and Christians should love everyone, too. I know there’s a lot of hate out there and a lot of non-Christians that feel like Christians hate them. This should not be the case. And non-Christians should certainly be welcomed into church. They are very welcome to come into the church that I attend.

First off, let me say I never meant to offend you. Also, I never said, “that you yourself are possessed by demons and that is why you have epilepsy.” What I said, is that there is an occurrence in the Bible where a person has seizures (epilepsy) and in this case it is demonic oppression and possibly “possession”, however the two are different. “Possession” is the indwelling of demons and controlling of a person. “Oppression” is being swayed, influenced, or even tormented by demons, though the person is not always aware of what is happening. So, I am truly sorry if you took that the wrong way.

Next, let me say that I am not offended or bothered at all by the website to which you sent me a link. It doesn’t change the fact that I love you and care about you because you are a special creation of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is not offended either. He still loves you because He created you. The purpose of God creating people is so that they could know Him and enjoy him forever. Psalm 139 says “God knit you together in your mother’s womb. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

So this is the truth of God:

God created the heavens and the earth. He created the angels in heaven and people on earth. Satan (Lucifer) is a creation of God and was one of the most beautiful in heaven. Satan was jealous of God and wanted to have his power and authority. Thus, Satan rebelled against God, took a bunch of angels and waged war against God. Obviously he lost and God cast him out of heaven to roam the earth. So Satan’s task since then is to go after the objects of God’s affection (humans) and to turn them against God. Satan is doomed to eternal separation from God and torment. They say “misery loves company”. Thus, Satan has no love for any person, but wants to destroy every person’s life and have them inherit the same misery and torment that is due him.

Satan tempted Adam and Eve in the garden to rebel against God; to go their own way. When Adam and Eve sinned the Bible says that "they hid from God"--because of their shame. But make note that God came to them. Since the eternal God is supreme, he knows what is best for man. His intent was for us to do things his way because his way is best and he knows the best way to bless us. He also has the right because we are His creation. Our rebellion against God is “sin” and is punishable by eternal separation from Him…in hell. Hell will be a horrible place of torment, but the worst part will be the eternal separation from a glorious, beautiful and loving God who is beyond all comprehension.

God wanted us to be reconciled to himself, thus He sent his son Jesus Christ (God-in-the-flesh) to come and live on earth to show us the right way, and then to die as a sacrifice for our sins so that we can be reconciled to God and live with Him for eternity. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only thing that can pay for our sin. We have the choice, we can let Jesus pay for our sin and simply accept what He did for us, or we can pay for our sin by being separated from God for eternity. God has shown grace to us.

Even the people that ultimately reject God…God still loves them! He is sad that they push his grace away because He desires them to be with himself. He is sad that they were ultimately deceived by Satan. The story of the Bible is that if you do things God’s way your life with be blessed. The Bible also teaches that there is a war being waged for the soul of every human, as I mentioned. Satan wants people to think that life is about money, sex, relationships and that these things can satisfy. King Solomon had more of these things than any person and determined after it all that they were “meaningless.” This is the truth of God that satisfaction is found in no one but Jesus Christ alone. It’s also true that a person can be reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus Christ alone. There are not enough good works that can be done to earn the right to be with God in heaven. Heaven cannot be earned, but received and accepted as a gift from God.

                Lisa,

Jesus Christ loves you and is pursuing you right now. His eyes burn with passion for you. He wants to touch you and change your life. He wants to draw you close to himself and satisfy you with his goodness. I challenge you to ask yourself these questions: “Am I truly happy? What gives my life meaning? Am I satisfied?”

Many people have a lot of stuff, a lot of relationships and a lot of money. They are often deceived into thinking that they are happy and satisfied. It can be hard for them to come to God because they don’t think they have need for Him. This is why Jesus said, “it is hard for the rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Many people will tell you that meaning is found inside of you. That you can decide what your life is about. But this is impossible. The person or being that creates something decides what the purpose and the meaning of the object is. This is so with God and his creation. People that say that will say that they are content without God, but if you look at their lives they are miserable, discontent and searching.

I have spoken the truth of God to you Lisa.

Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to know Him. I love you and care about you and want your life to be blessed by the One that created you.

                Thanks for reading,

                Aaron

First: I'm offended he doesn't give my church the same respect I give his. I may never want to step foot in his church and he may never want to step foot in mine, but both are due respect.
Second: How DARE he say I think Christians hate me!
Third: He says he didn't mean to offend me by saying how demons control my seizures! I'm so relieved I'm not possessed! (Yeah Me!) Still, the demons are surrounding me all the time and cause me not to realize my seizures are because of them.
Fourth: How silly of me to "take it the wrong way"!
Fifth: I'm drafting a response to his message and will post it as soon as God Wills me to.

Re: Please pray that my epilepsy will be cast out by the Lord!

                    This was my response:
You say you aren't offended by my church, but I'm offended you don't appear give my church the same respect I give yours. You call it a joke! I may never want to step foot in your church and you may never want to step foot in mine, but both are due the same respect. In the words of Mrs. Betty Bowers: "As True Christians, we are called upon to marginalize other faiths or people with no faith and to scream "PERSECUTION!" when they rudely return the favor."

How dare you say I think Christians hate me! Most of my friends and family are Christian.

"I am truly sorry if you took that the wrong way." How silly of me to take that the wrong way. I'm so relieved I'm not possessed! (Yeah Me!) Still, the demons are surrounding me all the time and cause me not to realize my seizures are because of them? Like invisible knats! How could I have taken science and medicine so seriously when Jesus could have dashed these demons long ago with his all powerful invisible flyswatter?

Saying seizures are possession or 'demonic oppression' is offensive to anyone with epilepsy. I know plenty of Christians with epilepsy who have taken your all powerful invisible friend into their heart and they still have seizures. I truly believeD, until a few days ago, that the blatant ignorance of 'seizures caused by evil spirits' was past us.

You said, "The story of the Bible is that if you do things God’s way your life with be blessed." After you enlightened me about demons, I decided to look and see if I could find a church which embodies my beliefs and opens me to God's TRUE love! I thank GOD you lead me to Landover Baptist Church! As the Bible is the end-all-be-all of knowledge and faith, I want to attend a church that respects ALL of the Bible! LBC states: "We Believe in the WHOLE Bible (1611 KJV). We don't throw out the parts that make us feel uncomfortable, like the book of Leviticus."

                    ----------------------DEMONS AND EPILEPSY---------------------------
Luke records a case where a child's demon possession caused what we would call epilepsy today. In Luke 9:39, the boy's father describes his son's symptoms:
"'A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.'"
Jesus provides the solution in verse 42:
"Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father."
                    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's my understanding Jesus Christ only loves those who accept Him as their Saviour. (Luke:19:27) If I choose not to accept Him as Savior, he does not love me.
