I know other members are outraged by the recent bad publicity God's favorite retailer (Wal-Mart) is getting because it refused to let this woman shoplift $400,000! How can folks expect a fine company like walmart to just hand one five-hundred-twenty-two-thousandth of it's money over to some woman who no longer wants to work for a living?

Anyway, please pray for Wal-Mart, I just don't know what I'd do without them. A VERY UPSET GLENDORA

Some people seem to think that Wal-Mart is some sort of Welfare Agency left over from the Clinton era.

This is a very clear cut case – this thieving woman isn’t half as brain damaged as she makes out – she’s clever enough to milk it off Wal-Mart and then milks the same money for the same injury from the trucking company. I dread to think what money she’s had in the way of state handouts on top of that.

She was probably drunk when she leaped out in front of the truck to avoid those “pink elephants” She’s also fat; a common symptom amongst those who drink.

Indeed, the relatives just keep chasing the money because, "Luckily, she's oblivious to everything," he [her ex-husband] said. "We don't tell her what's going on because it will just upset her."

Had she been a God Fearing woman, The Lord would never have had need to curse her – The Lord is Justice.

The good news is that when Wal-Mart get the money back, they’ll be able to return the favour to the customers and prices will come down.

Dear Lord, Jesus Christ, Please protect Wal-Mart from that lazy and evil Debbie Shank. Please make Debbie realize that Wal-Mart deserves $417,000 much more than she does. And help Debbie get off her butt so she can go back to Wal-Mart and earn $417,000 the hard way. Afterall, it'll only take her 75,000 or so hours to earn that money (after tax). AMEN!

This woman is so selfish and ungrateful.

She's been raking in a salary from them for years and then due to some bad driving she could no longer work.
What on earth was she doing driving a car anyway? Isn't that what Negra's do for you?

Wal-Mart were generous enough to pay her until she screwed won compensation from the Lorry company (who I expect have now gone bust because of her) and now they lawfully want their money back.

Can somebody tell me WHY they have to keep telling her her son died? It's not like she remembers or anything.

Another outrage perpetrated on us God-fearing True Christians(tm) by the filthy communist dogs, with my apologies to all dogs everywhere.

Wal-Mart's perfectly legal and morally sound explanation is this:

Wal-Mart spokesman John Simley, who called Debbie Shank's case "unbelievably sad," replied in a statement: "Wal-Mart's plan is bound by very specific rules. ... We wish it could be more flexible in Mrs. Shank's case since her circumstances are clearly extraordinary, but this is done out of fairness to all associates who contribute to, and benefit from, the plan."

Wal-Mart's rules clearly reflect their zero-tolerance policy on the "gimme-mine" attitude shown by this woman and her family.

I'm not quite sure if thats shoplifting Glendora. I was expecting a klepto trying to plead not guilty (although wondering how you'd carry 400,000 worth of merchandise out didn't quite hit me until later).

It is, however, a violation of her healthcare contract with WalMart. The agreement she signed sucks, Wal-Mart really should've pressed the issue 3 years ago at the end of the trial, she'll definitely be worse off than Wal-Mart without the money, and she probably didn't(or couldn't) read the contract but W-M is sticking to their end of the contract so they should be able expect her family to stick to hers. People really should either understand what they're signing or go try to find someone to translate from Contract into English.

I found out the True Gossip behind this story, Mother Glynndie. She's actually suing Wal*Mart because she was offended by the Greeter!

A loud and crude "woman", she walked into the store with her two bRats, who were all Fighting and screaming. The Greeter asked her politely if they were twins. "Are you blind or just stupid?" she shrieked. "One is 5 and one is 9 - obviously they're not twins!"
