Personally, I'd rather take a correction from my Godly Husband, than have to deal with a man who referred to women as "bitches". A correction comes from the love of a husband for his wife, "bitches" is just plain disrespectful.

There shouldn't be any question at all regarding this matter, for all who read their bibles assiduously.

After all, as can be gleaned from http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0...unishment.html, our actions, as far as punishment is concerned, should be guided by zeal and righteousness.

However, at the same time, I do understand the plight of the OP (Brother Temperance).

True to his name, he wants to temper his temper. How utterly fascinating. And righteous. And zealous.

So, taking all of that into account and going back to the original question of the OP: "when is it OK to beat a woman?"

I say in all humility, righteousness and zealousness to you Brother Temperance: "beat a woman anytime the spirit comes upon you", for as already shown above, ye have not been found wanting, as ye are righteous and zealous both, traits which both justify ye wanting to inflict righteous punishment zealously.

It is perfectly ok and acceptable to beat a woman 100% of the time. Cover them in bruises so they won't make your eyes have lustful thoughts. Beat them in the morning to remind them that it is their fault we were removed from the Garden of Eden. Beat them once before bed, as a lighter penance. All women are witches and guilty of glamour. According to Exodus they should be killed - and they would be if it were legal - not just beaten, however even the Almighty would not condone murder. Exodus 22:18 (KJV) "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
