  • The LORD GOD Spake Unto Me

After Sunday early services, I was walking down the sidewalk when a pine cone suddenly fell from the sky and landed just 7 inches from my Rockport dress shoes. I immediately fell into a trance and the LORD GOD whispered in mine ear:

    "Larry," He whispered.

"Yes, LORD GOD?" I said, in hushed, reverent tones.

"Listen to the message of the pine cone." He said this with great force, leading me to believe it was quite important. "Pick it up," He continued. Of course, I immediately put the pine cone to mine ear.

    I heard nothing.

    "LORD GOD?" I questioned.

"Larry?" He responded - sounding somewhat busy. I felt silly for questioning His instruction, and said:

"Oh, nothing." And that was when it happened. Three gloriously bright lights in the sky descended, and I saw an angel reach for the pine cone. I drew back, saying, "Hey, that's my pine cone."

I would have never spoken to an angel of the LORD like this, but remember, I am in a trance. The angel smiled at me and said,

"Do you hear the message of your Creator?" I nodded and whispered, "Yes." The angel brushed me with its wing and said:

"You must immediately follow its words. Go now and fulfill its challenge." With that, all three angels disappeared, with one of them taking time to wave bye bye.

Now, to be honest, I hadn't heard anything and I've been here with this pine cone for almost an hour. Can a senior pastor or one of the sisters with great knowledge help me understand this bizarre and difficult message? I have been out of the trance for the greater part of the morning.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

I was going to respond to this, but then I realized this was the forum for men only, so I won't.

Oh, Dear Sister Dana: You know, I almost responded to part of our beloved Brother Larry's message, and then I realized that I hadn't noticed that I was in the "Men Only" forum. Now, I'll very quietly tip-toe out with you, and perhaps nobody will know we've been here. Heavens, I hope I shan't be opening my mailbox in the morning only to find a stern rebuke from that lovely, handsome Dr. Niles.

A blessed evening to you, dear Sister Dana,
      Sincerely, Isabella W.

I've managed to connect this keyboard to my 'phone and it works OK but the screen is shining right in my eyes because it's closer than -- that's better, I've wedged a candle with my leg to the armchair.

The sistern are not here to impart knowledge but occasionally posting Scripture (which always seems self explanatory to me) is approved by The Pastors. I have forgotten your question ow! the candle is dripping hot wax on me.. Oh yes: have you considered the similarity of shapes? I was reminded earlier (before an explosion in the kitchen area) of the similarity between the eye of a hurricane and the funnel of a tornado. God had sent one down to suck Elijah off the earth, bringing him to Heaven. Have you noticed any shapes similar to the shape of a pine-cone when witnessing for Christ? Perhaps those would be areas to focus on.

Now I really should focus on what went wrong in the kitchen before I run out of candles.

My goodness, Sister Lizalor, what happened? I've found that if I plug in too many appliances in the kitchen, the power will go out. My husband will cuss and stomp around but he'll fix it because he wants supper. I might get a few whaps due to my stupidity too, but I did deserve it after all.

That is almost as interesting as God speaking through a pine cone, isn't it? I do await impatiently for Sister Mitza's explanation. Which she should be able to do, provided that she has a solar charger for her phone and enough data left to keep using the phone as a hotspot. I shall pray for both.

And for Brother Larry's pine cone, of course.

The Lord revealed unto our precious Sister Joanna that the pine cone was the means of transmitting the songs for Alan and Pim’s birthday. I marvel at our Creator’s creativity.

The pine cone was my personal burning bush although it was neither burning nor a bush. Oh my Jesus, continue to use me to bless and enlighten Your flock Father God, until you break the clouds in majestic pomposity. Glory!!!!!!!
