You say you get angry when they use [the Bible] as their only source of ideas. Yet, if I view an outside idea, it is either in the Bible or it is not.
If it is in the Bible, I need not consult the outside source. (e.g. Stoning Homers)
If it is not in the Bible, it cannot be important to my journey to Heaven. (e.g. Civil Rights)
