I took care of that dog. It stopped breathing for a little while but I figure that was Satan leaving the animals body.

I am Catholic, or used to be, and after looking at this forum, I now remember why I know longer have faith in any particular religion. There could be something out there yes, but to take everything the Bible says word for word, is ridiculous.

Someone riddle me this, how do you know that it is your religion that is the right one, the one that has been actually given to you by God. Since there are so many variations of of religion, even variations of the same religion, most of which were given to them by 'God' how do you know your religion is the correct one? If everyone had God tell them about their religion, and religions are so different, who is to say who is right.

There are many religions that believe if you don't believe in that religion or worship that god, with those values, then you will be going to hell. Since there are many different religions that say this, most of which have varying principals, then do you know statistically what the chances are that you have the correct religion picked out from the sea of others?

Religion doesn't save, anti-religion does. More wars have been fought over religious believes than any other. As soon as people just believe and have faith in, whatever it is they have faith in, and don't try to PUSH their beliefs on others, the world will be a better place.

What is timeless and eternal is your incapacity to rationalize instead of indulging yourself with self-destructive and radical beliefs. You people so greatly miscontrue the word of God that it makes my heart hurt. You people claim to model your lives after Jesus, but please find the verses in scripture for me where it says Jesus was for beating women, subjugating others, and inequality. Jesus as a symbol and a person stands for exactly the opposite. Though masturbation "spilling ones' seed" is not permitted by the law of God, scripture tells us that we must pray for forgiveness, and look to help those that have a problem with something like this, not to physically beat them. Pastor Ezekiel, especially you. Your signature leaves me in stitches, you list everyone who Jesus will damn to Hell, however you are too stupid, ignorant, and poisoned by religion to realize that you meet many of these same requirements that you lay out. you are deceitful in the way you lie to soceity, otherwsie im sure you would be in jail for your outspoken use and practice of wife beating (i can only assume you are deceitful and a liar because you obviously don't go around saying you beat your wife in public, you would surely be in jail) As far as the maliciousness and hatefullness that goes into the act of beating someone, i feel it is self evident and I don't even need to make a comment. You should really reanalyze the way you interpret scripture as well as religion. You must also realize the Bible was not written by God, it is impossible. Though it may be divine inspiration, it was still written by people, and we as people are inherently not perfect, therefore, the Bible, sadly, is not perfect as much as you wish to beleive it is. The Bible has been tainted through thousands of years of revision and human interference. It is not the undeniable word of God. You baptists have a funny way of beleiving everything that is told you and never questioning your faith. Questioning your faith is the most healthy way to a great relationship with God. If you have doubts, and work through those doubts, your relationship will be that much stronger. Sorry about the disorganized structure of my response but I see so many problems in your line of thinking that I just don't know where to start. I'll end this by saying: question your God to the fullest, and question your church. This is exactly what Jesus did and he was persecuted for it, but good has come out of it. We can't just assume what our church or pastor says is the infallible word of God, through spiritual questioning our understanding of God will only be made better. I will pray dearly for all of you, that you may see the blindness of your ways.

This must be a joke. You people blindly follow every word in the Bible. Have you ever thought to think that this was written by a person who had misconstrued the true word of God? Or ever stopped to think that this was written thousands of years ago and we have come to an age that realizes murder as not only a sin in the eyes of God, but as a general act of wrongdoing, regardless of culture. Please explain to me how it is a sin to murder, but this quote from scripture tells us to murder? Surely, God does not make exceptions in which murder is ok. It has always been clear to me that God will tolerate no sort of murder. And if you respond by saying that "murder" is a term loosely defined and is now defined as "beating" you are horribly foolish.. you can't read everything from the Bible word for word and then make an exception here.


heres a quote from a book of the Bible I have written myself "All ye Baptists are foolish and blind. Thou shalt surely burn in the eternal fires of Hell for your ignorance and intolerance." Just like the person who wrote Romans or Leviticus, I feel I am a person deeply inspired by God to write these words. If you have a problem with this, please please please try and give me a good reason of how I am different than any other divinely inspired author of the Bible.
