  • "One shot, one beer, and one lay" -Rick Santorum

Brothers, We all remember Godly Rick Santorum, who's named after a disgusting homosexual practice, yet still holds his head up high and has fathered a quiverfull of children.

Rick was on the news shows recently and offered some advice to President Osambo about how to date your wife. Rick's advice is something we can all learn from:

"Go down to the corner bar and have a drink, a shot and a beer. It does not matter where you go with your wife, is that it's with your wife. That's really the point... I would make the argument, the simpler the date, the more normal it is... [I]t is mundane that really makes the marriage special, but because you are with your wife the mundane isn't mundane. It's special."

Man, is the guy a love "beest" or what?

Is this something that you're expected to do every night?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

If a respected theologian like Larry Lee says it, I am will to give it a shot.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Doesn't Mr. Rick Santorum know imbibing alcohol is a SIN?

NO WONDER God removed him from office.

I will pray for him anyway, because I am able to rise above petty politics and I know Mr. Rick Santorum needs a double dose of God's GRACE.

That's what LUKEWARM "so called" "Christians"* want you to believe! And I pray for you my brother you haven't TRULY backslidden THAT far!

I know from reading some of these posts that this place is RIFE with "LIBERAL" thinking people who may or may not TRULY believe they are Christians, and that having a "drink" is OK.

But what about the weaker brothers and sisters you are influencing? The near alcoholic in the bar who is WATCHING you enjoy that brewski; the DRUNK behind you in the line at the liquor shop who knows you ALLEGE to be a "Christian" but sees you buying that half pint of rotgut vodka?

You, Sir, are LEADING them on the PATH to PERDITION because of your REPROBATE ways.

No, the ONLY proper Christian way to serve our Lord is to completely abstain from DEMON spirits.

And why do you think they call them "spirits" anyway? Doesn't the VERY name SHOUT to your conscience you should have NOTHING to do with them? I hope that it does - that you aren't that far gone... yet.

Though PERHAPS even though you may not hear the SHOUT of the Lord you may be able to hear His still small voice, speaking to you through the humble words of my post.

That is my duty, and my prayer.

*And hasn't the example of God removing Mr. Rick Santorum from his "high place" helped you to understand???? I fear you may be beyond even the GRACE of God.

You would deny me a drop of Brandy on my deathbed? Proverb:31:6: Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

I would look again and let Jesus’ hand guide your search for guidance

Ec:9:7: Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
Am:9:14: And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
Am:9:15: And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
1Tm:5:23: Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.

                    And most authoritatively

                    M't:26:27: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
M't:26:28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
M't:26:29: But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

                    BUT

                    Eph:5:18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

                    And thus

1Co:10:30: For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
1Co:10:31: Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

I have learned to PRAISE GOD when I come to a new forum and am mocked, counting it all JOY when LIBERAL "so called" "Christians" have the GALL to PREACH to ME about "TRUTH".

Once you are more Mature In The Lord you will come to KNOW that His Holy Spirit is what guides our interpretation and that God's True True Christians (not the mockery you have made of the term here) are infallible in their dialectical discernment.
