The Bible doesn't tell you to breathe either, so I suggest you stop doing that immediately.

The Bible teaches us women have to be silent (1st Timothy 2:11-12) and they have to obey their husbands (Genesis 3:16, Ephesians 5:22-24). The Bible also teaches us we have to follow 100% of God's laws (James 2:10). So if your wife disobeys the Bible she will burn in Hell!!!

So if I lovingly beat my wife into a bloody pulp for refusing to obey God, I am saving her soul! That you refuse to do the same for your wife makes you an evil person. You are condemning her and yourself to the eternal fires of damnation.
5 Reasons why GOD HATES WOMEN!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Godly discipline is good for the mother, good for the baby.

                        Re: Discipline Of The Wife

I am a man that is married to two wonderful submissive wives. Both of my wives if they are disobedient I have an old fashioned wooden hairbrush and a good liberal dose of a good spanking till they are crying definitely works. There is no fighting and in our house the man wears the pants. If this site is not for Christian polygamists just let me know and I will delete my membership. I am not Mormon but fully believe having multiple wives is biblical. I hope I will be welcomed in your site.
                        In Gods live,
                        Brother steve

Colossians 3:19:Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

1 Peter 3:7: Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7: Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 11:12: For as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God.

So it's ok to beat your wife, who is a vessel of the spirit of your god...isn't that the same as beating god because the spirit of god did not ensure she did not burn your holy dinner?

Oy. Who failed to teach these kids to read??

First off, ditch that NIV. In trying to make it "easier to read", they changed a lot of the meaning, and in fact DUMPED whole sections. Here's an example:

1 John 5:7 (NIV): "For there are three that testify:"

1 John 5:7 (KJV): "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

Notice how the NIV eliminates the reference to the Trinity?

My post that you MISquoted pointed out to the person I was responding to that the Bible says nothing positive about your wife's "feelings" or "emotions" (in fact there are many verses that imply you should ignore them completely, in order to save her soul), or anything that says men and women are equal (only that neither gets any leeway for sin), or that "there's no such thing as appropriate punishment" (where the Bible has many parts that deal with exactly that), or (the most laughable bit to anyone who has actually read the Bible) that you should LISTEN TO WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY.
