It's things like this that give religion a bad name. Conservative Christians/Muslims whatever have you, are the worst. They take things out of context and go to the extremes. Where in the bible does it say to beat your wife or son? What good comes of it?

No, you're not. As to whether the Bible says that we're all equal, explain the following:

Ephesians 5:22-24: Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.

As to whether God says that only He can judge us, take a look at this.

When a man is ready to discipline his wife he should get HER to give him an upper body massage before AND after each session. In addition, she should be thanking her man for allowing her to be the object of his affection and then apologizing for whatever minor transgression made the disciplining necessary in the first place and promise to never do it again.

Im not even a farther an I know this, My big brother has three sons, they are fine gentlemen because when they were little when they were bad they would get the bare hand, and a lecture!

Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."

Proverbs 23:13-14 "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell."

So not even do we have to use objects to hit our children, if we don't they go to Hell!

i completely agree with everything you said, Woman should not be disgraced in this messed up world. They should in fact be thanked for everything they do for the world. You are all quoting the old testament. The new testament has more recent information about how woman should be treated. so any of you a*****e men who think you rule the world, newsflash you don't. so instead of beating your women and children you should tell them you love them and if you cant do that then let them go let them live a fuller life and a better life with out you.
