Greetings, brothers in Christ.

I have been examining the many threads on this blessed forum and have come to the conclusion it is time for me to take my next step toward a sinless life. I have struggled since my salvation with the vile practice of masturbation, particularly after my last ex left me. Pastor Ezekiel's thread concerning steps in quitting made me realize how important it really is for me to STOP.

I wasn't sure if this was an issue that was appropriate for the normal prayer request forum (due to the women's access to it) so I chose to put it here.
Please pray for quick progress through Christ as I know I will need his help to stop fully. It truly is a gripping problem for me at this time. Only He can keep me from those strong impulses constantly, to view those addicting pornographic videos with their sinful, shapely women and to... in any case, I need prayer!

Indeed my friend, this is the appropriate forum to discuss such issues. The last thing we need is a nattering simpleton distracted from her duties and prattling on about things she could not possibly understand.

As an ex-gay by choice, self sin was a large part of my life for twenty years. All queers expect to couple with another fag at least 10-15 times per day, but this is not always possible nor practical. There were many days I resorted to the equally wicked sin of self-induced prostate spasms, so I am quite familiar with the urges that arise.

Praise Jesus, when I asked Him to enter me rather than strange men, all sexual desire (other than the work of creating my 4 sons) was eliminated. You will get to this inner peace as you develop your personal relationship with Christ.

In the meantime, as you are an otherwise normal person (heterosexual), the important thing is to take immediate action the very second you feel a stirring in your loins. If we can prevent the erection, we can prevent the sin. I would suggest prayer to drive the filthy thoughts from your consciousness and replace them with something repulsive. Perhaps Susan Boyle in a "come-hither" pose, wanting to have her way with you.



Stay strong, young man. We will all be pulling for you and keep you in our prayers.

Brother Porter, thank you for sharing that touching story. Praise Jesus!
The image you provided does indeed help to suppress some of the urgings. I am actually surprised at how effective such an unpleasant female can be in destroying sexual desires. Perhaps this is in part why God has seen fit to create such people?

Redeemed Papist, I thank you too for your support. It is truly a blessing to know that with the help of the men at Landover, and Jesus, I will some day be able to stand up straight, head high and not be ashamed.

Try to find a good Come to Jesus meeting in your town.
