No the earth wasn't covered in volcanoes the landscape of the earth was different which meant that the volcanoes were in different places 500 million years ago was about the time that life started to get more diverse and this can be proven by fossils found from those times

A dead or inactive volcano is still referred to as a volcano. Please note that the article talks about top 9 volcanoes, not top 9 locations where volcanoes used to be but then decided to pack their bags and move.


It'd be like going to a safari to see a place where lions used to be instead of the actual lions.

Mountains don't move unless a person of faith orders them to do so (Matt 17:20). The scientific term for such an event is earthquake, and the mountain doesn't change location, just shakes and sometimes gets disfigured.

Okay, Dorry, I'll bite. From the point of view of secular science (which I guess is where you're coming from? - never mind that most of it is wrong), tectonic plates are always moving. They generally move very slowly, but they are constantly moving, like gigantic underground slugs.

The noticeable (to us) consequences of this movement include volcanic eruption and earthquakes. The fact that there are (currently) no active volcanoes in the UK is purely thanks to God's possibly temporary mercy. (By the way, it's quite interesting that they are mostly in Scotland, don't you think?) But He hurls a small earthquake in our direction - mostly quite far north of Watford ) on a very regular basis.

Feel free to believe in the scientific explanation, if it helps you. But bear in mind that Someone is making those plates move, and that Someone is our Heavenly Father.
