I believe I have officially entered the "loony bin". How can you justify altered beliefs the way you do? I have found you to have an arrogant, self-righteous attitude. Regardless of your feelings towards a child's show, you do not carry yourselves in the manner I picture a Christian behaving. I understand that the Baptist faith is very extreme but I never imagined it would attack people the way I have seen reading this thread. Before you question my beliefs I will give you a little background of my upbringing. My mother is a catholic and my father is a Methodist. My father has told me that he has always considered attending a Baptist church as he feels their beliefs are the truest. As for my mother she is well kinda "crazy" very extreme with her beliefs in the catholic church. Even forcing her children to be confirmed catholic. So yes I have technically been confirmed catholic but I however don't follow any of their beliefs. But I will tell you this what I've seen in these forums I would not become a full baptist not with this branch anway. Maybe a different church where the members aren't hypocrites. And if you are curious about my opinion about "Lazytown" it is that it is an educational show that promotes good eating habits, exercise, and sharing. I don't think it was any form of homosexual propaganda but it is a little extreme with the so called "harlot" appearance. That is my opinion and as a citizen of the U.S. I am entitled to it. Oh, and Iceland is not the devils playground people. We are all human and are but a grain of salt in the eyes of God. So let's be kind to one another and stop this hatred that I have seen expressed so much in this thread. What do you mean "altered beliefs"? Are you saying we do not follow the Bible to a T? If so, can you show us where we have strayed from God's teachings?

Also, the Bible commands us to be righteous.

Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

We carry ourselves according to the Bible. Again I ask you, how are we straying from the Bible?

A Christian has to be "extreme", otherwise they are not a Christian at all. And by "extreme" I mean following all of the Bible, and not just picking and choosing which verses to follow freely. In fact, God will only accept us who are "extreme".

Please answer Reverend Osborn's question. You claim we have not followed the teachings of The Bible to the letter and in the spirit they are written. Were have we failed to do this? Please cite scripture. To be blunt we have no use for your personal opinion friend, human opinion is nothing next to God's.

If you are raised a Christian and so well versed in the teachings of Christ then you should have no problem in providing these examples.

Seems Jesus Himself told us not to judge others. But we are human and we are all sinners so we tend to judge anyway. But that doesn't make it biblical.

To explain the quote you cite you need to take the whole Bible and not just one verse from it ; a TRUE Christian can judge because they have been born again and their sins forgiven and washed away by the Blood of the Lamb. They are the one who can take the stone Christ offers and beat that filthy whore to death. Since the Jews Christ was talking to the time knew they were sinners, since they hadn't turned their lives over to Jesus and repented, they wisely backed down.

I'm glad you gentlemen are so strong in your beliefs. I am not here to convince you that Jesus isn't your savior that would be blasphemy. But I will say that being rude is not righteous. And you all have proven to be very rude. Judge me however you see fit it doesn't matter to me as I don't believe you to be as righteous as you claim. And you can say oh that is because you aren't truly saved...blah blah blah. And my opinion doesn't matter what so ever to you as only your opinions count. But you know what they say about opinions. You may be right to judge others but I dare you to throw a stone at a person walking down the street that you feel isn't saved and see if your jury would save you from some jail time. All and all I believe you all are good people but you could be a little less rude and not be so high on yourselves. Like I stated earlier to be humble is part of being righteous. For a "Christian" you sure are ignorant of history. King James himself did not translate it. He simply appointed the commission that translated it. Great, learned scholars like Lancelot Andrews, William Bedwell, Robert Spaulding, and Sir Henry Savile. Translators, historians, theologians, all united to bring the Word of God to the English-speaking world.

Also, to address another point, no one is being rude or self-righteous to you. If anything, you are the one who is not showing any manners. You barge into our forum, unsaved and uninvited and start spewing hatred towards us. You aren't even so kind as to create an introduction thread and instead immediately interrupt our Godly forum with your unsaved judgments and persecution.

So if only God's opinion counts then only he can officially judge me right? I mean your judgment on me doesn't really count. Honestly, I don't wish to have a debate. If the bible states that we who are saved can righteously judge others than there is no need to debate. But we can still present our judgments against others in a more mature manner. We don't have to ridicule them or mock them, do we? When someone stands trial and is sentence to go to jail the judge doesn't say got to jail you piece of trash, do they? The answer is no, they don't.
