Are you kidding me?! I hope this is a joke post, I REALLY do. I am now here to counter all of the things you have just said.

• It is a "Role-Playing Game" for the computer, very similar to the well-known Satanic Dungeons & Dragons.

Okay, first of all, D&D isn't satanic in any way, as for the roleplaying aspect, just like other games. It's a way to escape the troubles of life for a brief moment, to relieve stress.

• You can pick various "races" for your character, including several demonic looking characters called "elves". With their pointed ears and eerie non-human appearances, it allows children to pretend they are a demon themselves.

In the lore of The Elder Scrolls, The elves are a race known for peace and harmony within nature and using combat when provoked. So therefor they are NOT demons by any means.

• The game is chockful of blasphemous magic and witchcraft. The player is able to perform a variety of spells such as hurling fire from one's hands, turning oneself invisible, forcing others' against their will to obey and listen to the character, and conjuring up demons from Hell to fight for the player. In fact, magic and witchcraft are a major part of the game and it's difficult to play the game without resorting to these Satanic means.

Again, back to the role playing aspect of the game, if you wanted to be a powerful wizard seen in alot more popular forms of entertainment such as The Lord Of The Rings. Even in Star Wars they had their own form of magic that could of been used by the good guys (jedis).

• The game makes no mention of God or Jesus Christ, instead it pushes a mythology of "Nine gods". You can go to heretical chapels and actually pray to these gods in this game and they heal you!

That's because it's not on this planet, nor dimension. They would have no form of Jesus Christ, that doesn't make it satanic, it allows the player to completely detach himself from the real life for a short time and relieve some stress.

• There is a realm called "Oblivion" which is definitely just Hell with a different name. You are required to go through this Hell environment during the game.

Yes that is true, but if you didn't start this thread without researching you would of known that the goal of the game is to close all of the portals to Oblivion and stop the "Demons" from coming onto the normal plane and destroying everything.

• Thieving and stealing are promoted in the game. You are allowed to pickpocket other people and steal possessions. One questline of the game actually REWARDS the player for this sinful behavior!

The thieving in the game is completely optional, the only questlines that reward you for this behavior are ones from the Thieves Guild. And if someone's "sinful" enough to join it, chances are is that he was already disturbed in the beginning.

• You can do quests for these demons called "Daedra". By doing these quests, these demons reward you. This tells our children that by serving demons they will get rewarded.

Again, it's completely optional, so chances are if the player was to do these things, he would of already been "disturbed". Or maybe, JUST MAYBE...He would of been smart enough to realize that it's a VIDEO GAME. A WAY OF ESCAPE!

• Alcohol in the form of beer, wine, and brandy is available to the player and can be drunk.

There is alcohol in the game, though you can't actually have the effects of being drunk, it raises your endurence (carrying capacity) and lowers just about everything else. For a brief amount of time.

• his game promotes astrology. Upon creating a character, you are forced to choose a "birthsign". More occult ideas pushed upon the impressionable player.

What's wrong with astrology? Again, it's just another form of the game's lore that makes it such an amazing world unlike any that we've seen in video games.

There is only one "good" vampire in the game, he works for the Dark Brotherhood. Which is the game's assassins guild. So again, unless the player already had the urge to join such a guild, he would of done so.

• It is well-understood that playing that demon-worshipping game "Doom" caused those two kids, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris to do the Columbine shootings.

That is the BIGGEST lie from the media I have EVER heard. Even if it was true, DOOM takes place on mars and you are KILLING demons. It was also proven that Dylan and Eric were both bullied on a day to day basis and that they had mental problems.

• It is also popular for males to play female characters. That way they can seduce other male characters. Takes demon worship to a new level.

Actually, if you played as a female, nothing really changes except a few bits and pieces of dialoge. You can't "Seduce" males into anything.

• I should mention, it looks like a subliminal message to me, but in the picture I closed, do you see the flaming ring of fire? Those are called Oblivion Gates which are pathways to Hell. Just looking at that imagery of the ring makes me think of, well I don't want to be too graphic for this is a Christian message board, but put "flaming" and put "hole" together, and you will see what kind of agenda this is. Clearly, the homosexual lifestyle is a gateway to Hell, but unlike in this game, you can't come back from there once you go!

Like i said, fallout 3 is made by the same people, and IT DOESNT FOLLOW anything like oblivion, it doesnt have evil or good.

I do hate to argue will another unsaved trash, but how does it not have good or evil. I think the option to blow up a town is plenty evil and saving a captive from Super Mutants is good or at least I see it that way.

After hearing all the complaints from the Landover Baptist "church" I think I will have to pick up another copy of Oblivion for my 360 when I bought Fallout 3 I traded in Oblivion. I guess I will have to stop by Gamestop and see if they have it there.

You are yet another poster to have praised this "Fallout 3" game. This is definitely something I will look into. I fear that if Satan-worshipping teenagers that love Oblivion are also playing this game, perhaps this game is just as bad as this Olbivion game?

There may be violence, but to be honest, some people NEED to play those games, they need to escape from reality, they like the freedom to have any choice they want, to be anything they want, many people do not believe in your religion, they do not have a way to release the anger, if they did not have a way

These games have helped me alot, they allow me to get rid of anger, and help me deal with stress.

It sounds like you are saying these video games are trying to provide some spiritual fulfillment on the part of people. Son, don't you know the Bible can provide all that for you? You may feel stressed or angry, but flip open the Good Book and read the Word of God(c) and you will melt in happiness that God is preparing a way for you to enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Putting video games before God is against what He wants. He did after all warn us not to worship false idols. Paul also warned us to stay away from negative influences....
