*Sigh* this friend of mine, sydney, she hates God. She is not emo or goth she is an athiest Gabby and I have tried so hard to reach her. Invited her to bible studies and youth group but she never comes. She says she will. But she doesnt. And to make it worse she has been abused as a child. Her father was a nasty mean guy, he used to coach basketball, i should know my friend Nathan and I were on his team. We quit though. The screaming and yelling is no way to teach children sports tho. Now me and nathan are being coached by my uncle and a certain someone.

just like to point out.

pretty much every true christian (on this forum) believes its ok to hit children and shoot animals.

the true christians in this forum are saying that video games make violent people and some of you have said "ever notice how after playing the game the killing doesnt seem so bad?"

surely if you all follow the bible and you all shoot animals (for fun) and beat your children surely its the bible that causes violence not games? the bible has been round longer than games i believe (by about what? 1900 years?)

i play games. i have never been in a fight, never beaten a child, never killed an animal for fun. who's the violent one here then? you can say its been done in the name of god all you like that doesnt change the fact you have beaten your child and you have killed an innocent animal. that animal will have had children of their own and you have taken that away from them.

The Holy Bible tells us to beat our children hard and often. Don't worry about hurting them. You may break a few bones and cause some brain damage, but it isn't going to kill them. And even if they do die, they'll be better off. They'll thank you in heaven for beating the hell out of them.

Yes, but the Bible does not say that obviously. If the Bible contained crazy rules people would not follow the Bible. But the Bible actually contains clear and logical rules, so it is not hard to follow them. God is very smart and so is his Holy Bible.

It seems part of your comment is based on you not knowing what the Bible actually says. You could consider reading it so you could get an informed opinion on the matter.
