Let me repeat myself; science has PROVED there is such thing as the supernatural. The ONLY POSSIBLE source of ghosts is Demons out to fool people since they don't have to obey the laws of science.

Zeke, our linguistically-challenged friend here doesn't understand that, even though they aren't Christians, Catholics do refer to themselves as such.

He's also presumably read this thread and already seen that the Bible makes it clear ghosts do not exist. The "Holy Ghost" is, of course, an alternate way of expressing "Holy Spirit", or one of God's personas. Not a "ghost" in the sense of "essence of a dead thing".

Now, Casptard, please show us the "scientific evidence" demonstrating that ghosts exist. After all, you're the one claiming they exist.

I have to agree with the Christian ghost hunter, and I will probably get all kinds of advise and prayers offered up, honestly, keep them. Being the son of a preacher, and a paranormal investigator ( fancy name for ghost hunter), I can honestly say you are way out in left feild on this one. Ya must've ran out of other things to complain about, so you are digging deep to keep your name in the spot light. I have participated in MANY "ghost hunts" and can honestly say I have not found one thing that was demonic, and no, I don't think that the spirits we have communicated are demons, maybe this is their purgatory, or maybe the line at the pearly gates are backed up because of the over population of earth( considering we are the only planet in the ENTIRE universe that has life on it, not really, but thats another subject all together)As a matter of fact, we have done a few investigations at a local church, we have caught EVP's of children, of women and men, SO i guess because it is not your church, demons can reside there ......Just can't believe how closed minded some people can be. Yes, I believe in God, I believe that there is a Satan, but open your minds people, we thought the world was flat not that long ago, and the sun revolved around us...............

Being a baptist preachers son, I was pretty sure that our forefathers fled from religious tyranny, so we could pratice our religion in freedom, and also be free to voice our opinions. exactlywhat do you mean by being brought up in a nominal baptist household ? I may not be able to quote the bible, I may not have the right scripture to reference from. but I can honestly say that God loves all his children, and nowhere in the bible does it say he has chosen who goes to hell, or who sits at his side. He has given us the choice to either accept him, or not accept him. I know where i will spend my eternity, at the right hand of our Lord God. I also know that I don't judge other , that I leave up to God and his infinite wisedom, which no man on earth will ever come close to having, or understand.
