Back to the subject at hand... I still fail to see how Minecraft is evil. I've read your arguments, but... all I see is a computer game. Some people love the freedom to build whatever they like, and that's why so many people play it. I've seen some beautiful creations.
Some multiplayer servers even feature churches and hold sermons.

In fact, everyone who joined had to go to the church, get baptized, and give tithe. And then they'd call everyone to the church whenever it was time for a sermon. I am absolutely positive that I will be banned for this, but here it goes anyway. Minecraft is NOT in any way sexual. Yes, there are the occasional perverts and pedophiles, but that is not the fault of the games creator. Markus Perrson is by the way, not Asian, as some of you racists have said, he is Swedish. As I was saying before, anyone with the money for it can buy a minecraft account, no one knows their intentions for the game. Also, Jesus was NOT American, he was born in Bethlehem. No one in Jesus's day had McDonalds, they grew their own food. The picture of the Minecraft character is not masturbating, it is holding a pickaxe. And you hate gays so much, but when you see a sphere, the first thing that comes to your mind is testicles. That has to say something about you. As for the blocks, that is the theme of the game. The creator could have put in better graphics, but he felt it would be an innovative idea to novelize older graphics in a 21st century way. As for your racist remarks about India, an indie game is one that is independent. You may argue that it is a big company, but when it was started, it was only a single person running it. Your views on creativity disgust me, if there was no creativity, where would the human race be? If there was no creativity you wouldn't live in a house, you wouldn't have the medicine it takes to let someone live to be in their 70's, and you absolutely would not have the internet to bother sane people with your messages about going to hell. Please, please, tell me you guys are kidding with all these comments. Minecraft is not satanist or sexual predator friendly game! I am a Baptist christian and i play Minecraft frequently with my other christian friends.

for 1 "griefing" is the term used when someone comes and destroys your property. When people do this they don't tell you about it, in fact they try to keep it a secret. If you're willing to tell me that someone will bow down to sexual demands over a video game, it is that person who has the problems, not the game itself. Also, you can claim areas of land so no one can grief it.

2nd the world is built in a block-like design on purpose, but not to insult god. In fact many of the creators of minecraft are christians. it's built blockily like that because it makes it easier to build in a world that goes on for miles w/o putting tons of work into it.

3rd gamers do not build the world!! they work with the world around them much like the way people do in real life, all of us.

4th teaching kids to build tools and scavange for themselves will not destroy the economy. seriously, what about the days when that was what people had to do to survive!!

5th that's not a walking penis. it's called a creeper and it is one of the opponents on the game. it's a simple way to make players watch out while exploring their world.

All of his points are true. Minecraft is just a game played for fun. I see no connection between blocky graphics and insulting God. The graphics are like that to make it easier to build things, as well as give the game a more unique appearance. If you see a picture of something that was done in Minecraft, it's very obvious that it was made in Minecraft.
I think you're all just trying to make mountains out of anthills... Say what you like, but even if you don't like it, Minecraft's probably gonna be around for a very long time.
