Please read all of this. Hello, I am not trying to sound biased or hurtful, just honest and helpful. Most of what you stated is incorrect about this game. It just appears that you have not done all of your research on the topic. First off, you mentioned homosexuality with the quotes "I love this doctor" and "get behind me doc". These are simply meaning that they are glad the medic has saved them and to get behind them for cover from the enemies. You also mentioned anti-American propaganda. Yes, the game does have many different cultures shown in a possibly stereotypical way, but its not meant to be anti-American. One of the characters, the Soldier, says many pro-American things such as "Stars and Stripes beat Hammer and Sickle!". There are also comics and videos made to set the backstory of the game. If you had read these you would see that many of the characters have heterosexual partners or girlfriends. And that there are reasons for the fighting. This all takes place soon after WW2, when homosexuality was even more frowned upon and some racism would be expected. Now what about this game's impact in the real world? The developers of the game have been working very hard on it for about 8 years now, and they are committed to make the fans happy with it. They listen and make updates based on what people want. I myself have made hundreds of new, good acquaintances through this game, and wouldn't have my best friends who are also Christians because of it. I hope you have read this, and can respect it. I don't even know what this is. This website is SO WRONG. Team Fortress 2 is a fun game. Period. There is no homosexuality, and just because there's some witty comebacks and arrogant, cocky remarks like the one about it being his world, doesn't mean it's directly attacking God! Do you truly think this is what God wants? For you to tear down amazing, innovative games like portal and TF2 just because you read between the lines so much that you started making up garbage? Valve is an AMAZING GAME COMPANY. I'm always so excited to see what they have to give. The fact that you're so RIDICULOUSLY TEARING AT THIS GAME SHOWS WHY PEOPLE THINK CHRISTIANS AND BAPTISTS ARE RIDICULOUS. I am a die hard Christian. And I know for a fact that nothing valve does is Satanic in ANY WAY. Just because it doesn't openly express the word of god doesn't automatically make it satanic! You all truly ought to be ashamed of yourselves. This whole website is based on ridiculous accusations and guilt trips and you all simply follow like lambs lead to the slaughter. For what goal? So you can prove you're more religious that all your friends? Seriously. This embarrassed me. I feel so sorry for your children, because they will never grow up to know the beauty behind portal, or the fun of playing TF2 with their friends, or anything else of the sort, just because the games aren't actively preaching the word of god. This is a free country. Not everyone is Baptist, or Christian. I'd COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND if you were writing about how bad Binding of Isaac is, because I truly think that game is wrong because it wrongly portrays a story of the bible. But valve neither preaches God's word, nor attacks it. It doesn't mean they're wrong. It means they're smart and don't put any religion in their games so they don't offend people like you. Please, keep it cool. I'm sorry I ranted here so much, but this disturbed me so much and god refused to let me just close this web page and move on. I felt him tell me to make this right. There is no homosexuality or anything in TF2, unless you're kids get on a server and there happens to be a gay person on the server playing with them. But the phrases like "I love ya doc" are not sexual in any way. And "get behind me" is a common thing said in war as a way of saying let me Protect you. It's not gay, or homosexual, or satanic. Just think next time ok? You're destroying perfectly good games, just because you are reading into things that aren't there.
