Hi all,
I'd first like to mention that interpreting the medic's phrases as homosexual really depends on your point of view, as it could just mean they're trying to protect the one person on their team who can bring people up to full HP.
Second, the pyro is in a spandex suit because of a horrible accident which caused him to have to wear it to survive, the main thing about this accident is that he was burned in a fire, and had the suit stitched to him.
Also, the 'bad words' that you hear of in this game can be muted, Valve took a look at this thread, (I directed them here) and they made it so you can disable all voices in the game, and the chat too.
Thirdly, Games do not cause violence, the kids do, it is their choice to imitate what is on a screen.
Fourthly, the game is positive in some ways, it has a diversity in the characters backgrounds, which is uncommon for a game like this.
Again, Valve takes into consideration threads like this, because it wants this game to be friendly, your child may hear bad language on community servers, which can be easily avoided.
Lastly, the Soldier only says things like 'this is my world, you are not welcome in my world' because according to the lore of the game, he grew up in a warzone, and was sent to America, but was never introduced to God, which makes those comments make sense, he doesn't know who made earth, or the universe for that matter, and so thinks that Humanity is the ones in control of all the world.

So how are your Bible studies progressing? Can you tell me now what God thinks about war? Genocide? Slavery?
