Look I'm not insulting your religion in anyway and yet you people won't even let this kid live a good childhood like God intended it to be?

"That kid" can live his life however he chooses. Nobody here is forcing "that kid" to do anything.

He denies God, yet comes to a Christian church's discussion forum of his own free will to argue about why he shouldn't follow God's Law.

We just point out the consequence: Eternal torment in God's Lake of Fire. Are we the enemy for telling the truth?

How can you tell if this is a bad game if any of you have ever played it?

How can you tell that raping little boys is bad without being a Catholic?

Personally, I thought the game was pretty good. The game is completely atmospheric and the environments are beautiful. Unfortunately, the game runs like crap. Still, extremely fun and immersive. Can't wait for Fallout 4 (Hopefully it'll be more like fallout 3)

Yes, Oblivion is a vile game which needs to be banned. And I imagine Oblivion 2: Skyrim will be no different. I don't keep up to date with the latest nintendo games, but from what I heard is that this new Oblivion game will feature lots of dragons. We know dragons are really another form of Satan (read Revelation, chapter 12). Also from what I heard, it takes place in a Nordic country like Norway or Iceland, so there will probably a lot of norse god worship in the game as well.

And I've read it is being released on 11/11/11. That is some pagan numerology right there.

I think it goes without saying that you should not even play this game.

Skyrim, while being the sequel to Oblivion, is not called Oblivion 2: Skyrim. Oblivion and Skyrim are both part of a game series called "The Elder Scrolls". Oblivion was the fourth game and Skyrim was the fifth.

Skyrim was created by a company called Bethesda, an American-based company. Nintendo is a Japanese-based company with nothing to do with the Elder Scrolls.

Skyrim features a lot of dragons, but the main goal of the game is to kill the dragons.

It does not take place in Norway or Iceland, but it does take place in a real country based on those countries. As for false god worship, there is a pantheon of Nine Gods, but these Gods have caused many a war in the lore of the Elder Scrolls, and so they are not cast in the best light. God and Jesus are not mentioned because Bethesda wishes to not offend the non-Christians who play the game, like Jews and Muslims.

11/11/11 is also Veteran's Day. That likely has much more to do with the release than numerology.

wow...i mean, i knew there were ignorant people in the world...but wow...just wow. Has any one of you thought for a second that it's just a video game? Just a virtual world where someone can escape for a few minutes and have fun? If you don't agree with something, i don't mind, but forcing everyone to see things your way just makes everything worse.

i'm a christian. I go to church when i get a chance. I treat everyone with the respect and kindness they deserve. I don't agree with people being gay, but i've got several friends that are gay and i don't treat them any differently from, say, another christian. Tolerance, and acceptance are something so many people lack, and from what i can tell, you people do too. It's groups like these, that are so extremist that make other religions, and people who don't believe think we're all a**holes. You might as well be the Christian Al'Queda. Extremism is what makes religion look like a joke.

Have you ever thought that a belief is so much stronger when made on personal preference? Standing on street corners and saying everyone is going to hell because they don't believe what you believe doesn't make anyone want to agree or sympathize with you.

I own ALL of the Elder Scrolls games. They are all fun. Extremely fun. They have amazing, well written stories from very talented people. They look beautiful and can truly immerse you in another world. So what if there's magic and gods (i used a lowercase g you idiots) and violence? it's just a game for someone to enjoy and have fun in. It's not some satanist recruiting tool. You've all psyched yourselves into believing that. Narrow mindedness kills.

I know this is just a post on some random forum, but consider it. Otherwise you've just been desensitized and can't think for yourself anymore. God created us to live and think for ourselves. Accept that some others have chosen different paths and don't try to force them to yours. It's contradictory to everything you SAY you stand for.

11/11/11 Bethesda used that date because 1. It has the same amount of Letters and the world SKYRIM, 2. It helps people remember because it's an iconic day.

The reason Bethesda didn't use jesus or god in the game is because....they aren't in that story! it's all made up! who cares!? yay!

Dragons are in the game because....they're awesome!

and furthermore, taking a broad look at all of the main religions in the world today, you'll notice that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are basically all the same thing, told differently to appeal to different groups of people.
