Because, i'm trying to promote thought in you people (but it doesn't seem to be working), read the entire paragraph as a whole, and follow its instructions, i'm curious as too your answer.
And i do want to hear about the bible, i want to hear it's proof of god and its validity, but all i've gotten is more verses from it which don't really help my situation. Seriously, can i have some actual proof outside of the bible?

And why is there a 700 second post timer? 11 minutes between posts is a bit excessive in my opinion.

Infact, all i want is proof outside of the bible. That's all im asking. All you do is reference the bible, which has absolutely no validity of who it was written by and when it was written, and if the events are actually real. Infact, has anyone else noticed that there aren't any other historical texts that tell of anything in the bible, and the bible is the only place they are found?

Also i'd like you to do something for me. Don't reply instantly shooting me down, but think, for a few solid minutes, say you've never heard of the bible, ever, had no idea what is was, what it told of, had no idea of god or jesus or anything, and someone came up and handed you the bible for the first time and you read it. Would you really read that book, believe its every word, and base your life around it? A book about a man who created the entire universe in 7 days a few thousand years ago (Even though theres actual scientific proof it's a few billion years old), healing the blind, turning water into wine, and what have you? Have a think, would you really believe it?

(Sigh) I really am getting tired of explaining this. The reason that people know that God exists is that He told them so Himself, in His very own Bible, which He wrote Himself, by telling His believers what to write.

God, the real God, known to many as Yahweh, didn't write the Greek myths, because those are myths, meaning not true. God only deals with Holy Truth, which He makes clear in His Holy Word-- which for two thousand years has been proclaiming God and Jesus Christ to everyone willing to believe in Him.

Why would God go to all the trouble of having His people write and publish His Words if He want people to know the truth about Him?

You just contradicted yourself. He didn't write it, his believers wrote it, as you say, from the supposed word of god. How do you know that these believers were talking to god, and not just making up things to try and control society (Because it has worked) by enstilling fear in them of them going to hell?
I posted this earlier but didnt get a reply, but How do you know that the bible and all it's tellings are real? There is no validity of who actually wrote it, it could really be anyone for all you know. Also, don't say the bible is real because it is good word, because all you're doing is putting it in an infinite loop proving either existance by the other, which doesn't work.

You twist the words again. GMod is used in schools TO HELP GEOMETRY TEACHING. Not AIDS, but aid (the verb) + s. mormon.

Hmm let's see:

- Wars - do you think wars are good? Let's try, send your parents, brothers, your husband/fiancée/boyfriend (if you have any), your children to die for something you think is right. And you say it isn't bad...
I would rather live happily with my family and friends, letting other people with different religion co-exist with me than to send my loved ones into a war to destroy those people.
- Loss of knowledge - if it was upon you, not that we could not talk right now, but you couldn't watch your favourite series on TV, wouldn't have a modern house to live, wouldn't have a car, trains, electricity, or anything like that. And you say it isn't bad...
- Starvation - would you like to see your children die because they couldn't eat for the second week right now? I guess, no. But yes, starvation till death is not bad, you say...
- Keeping up feudalism - for what? You couldn't have your own opinion, your own home, you would live with three or more families together in a small house (if you can call those buildings house), and would have to work out your soul to get some food. And you say it's not bad...
- A church what takes your money to keep up it's shiny glory with gold, etc - the title speaks for itself

But if you want that, as I said, take your stuff, make your own country, and live by those rules. But do not expect anyone to help you out!

What i don't understand is, if god loves all of his children, which he supposedly does, why even give us the possibility of being sent to hell in the first place, or sinning? Also what about people who are brought up in places where they are not able to learn about god, often because they have another religion being driven down their throat from birth (Which is really the only reason why you beleive in god). Does god punish those which are not able to hear his word and follow his commandments?

And while i'm here, can god create something he cannot lift?

Also what was your exact search term, and how far down were these said images? And what's wrong with the 2nd image that you posted?

Nigel, you pose a lot of old questions that have beeb examined and dealt with by believers many times in the past.

The short answer is: because God tells us His Very Own Self, in the Bible, that God, His Very Own Self, is telling us in the Bible.

If you can't grasp this simple premise, then all the arguments in the world won't open your mind to the simple truth of what we proclaim.

please dont blatantly twist my words. this isnt a game it is a tool for creating. saying this tool is a sin because some people can not see god in it is almost calling jesus himself as bad as the worst of mankind because their were carpinters who create unholly things. its not the program thats the problem its the users. youve obviously had trouble with users on this site lately. does that make this whole site corrupt? i was simply trying to state something that made both parties happy while refraining from anyone needing to sin

Well, if god doesn't want us too sin, then why give us free will in the first place? I assume that if he does love us, he would not want us to endure eternal suffering in hell, so again, why give us free will and have no direct control over us if the entire world population are going to sin and supposedly be sent to hell?

If you actually read the Bible, you would know that, according to it, it is not the entire world population that is being sent to Hell.

People who read the Bible and believe it to be God's revealed truth and thus follow its every word will be spared Hell.

So, you see that the Bible is a wonderous book that sets out all of God's Plan by presenting the problems of mankind and providing a solution to all those problems.

It is the most self-contained "how to" manual ever written! And it was written by God Himself! What more could anyone want?
