First of all. God did not write the bible. The bible was written by people and not god. Should you believe what they wrote? There is a difference between believing in god and following a book because you are afraid of going to hell.

A suggestion: Before accusing others of being ignorant, check to be sure you have spelled "ignorant" correctly.

It has nothing to to with the words of the lord. Eating your breakfast does not have anything to do with his words either. It's a game which lets you do things. True christians know they are not supreme to god. They get to do things, but not as many things as god. They get to build stuff and put them together. They can create artificial intelligence. This is not filth we are talking about. This game is a game that lets you be creative.

Think of it as painting. When you paint you can create whatever you want.
When you play Garry's Mod you can create whatever you want. Is painting filth? No. It's not filth... as long as you don't mock god. Some atheists mock god because they lack intelligence. Real atheists don't mock god, they just belive in what they believe.

The point I want to get to is: Garry's Mod is just like real life. You just get a tad more things to do. You can't "be god". You don't mock god. You know god is still almighty. You know he is the creator of everything. You know Garry's mod is just a game; it's not real. I suggest you try to play the game and see what it's like.

And we suggest that you read the Bible and see what it really says.

Of course God did not write the Bible, He had it written. God is much to busy to take the time to write a book (Could you imagine Him on His throne, quill in hand?)
God did give His 'stamp of approval' on the Bible though. If there had been a mistake or misunderstanding of His Word, surely He would of had the misinformation corrected. He is quite clear about who can go to Heaven and that everyone else goes to Hell.
Going to Heaven is a choice a person can make, just like being gay or a Christian.

But just making the right choice is really hard. Being gay is just their nature. Homosexuality is caused by the human's desire for reproducing itself. Homosexuality even exists with dolphins (though you might know that). But quitting something that's part of your nature... it doesn't work. You can stay away from being homosexual... but you will not live a happy life. The desire will still be there, it will always be there. But anyway. You write better replies than Papist.

i am looking in my concordance and i don't see anywhere in the Bible where God has commanded us to be happy. Where does it say that?

Don't you think that heterosexuality would be a better decision to make, if you have a desire to reproduce?

Christianity is about God's happiness. Not your or my happiness. We are supposed to do what we are commanded to do, because it is what God wants. If God wanted us to do whatever makes us happy, He wouldn't have bothered to inspire the Bible.

Friend, you do know what God wants. I know He can be difficult at times to follow but it is a small price to pay for the opportunity to go to Heaven.
When a young man decides to be gay, he is also deciding he hates God. Being gay is not a two way street.
I am sure there are many men who are Christians and are also inflamed at the sight of a rippled set of abs on a taught 20 something your old boy. But which is more important, your happiness of Gods?
God made is all so simple when He had the Bible written. Follow what it says.

I have known a lot of gay people though out my life. Most are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. But they chose to go against God and be sodomites. Now, secular law prevents me from stoning them them and God has granted us permission to waive Biblical laws when secular law can result in unfair consequences.
Of course gays do not complain about Christians. How can you complain about a person who is right? But you are right about having the opportunity to be Saved. They just have to stop being gay. Probably less difficult than quitting smoking. They just have to make the right choice.

i am confused. Why do you think God command the execution of gays in His Word, if He didn't really mean for anyone to obey Him? Don't you think He would have said what you are saying, if that's what He meant to say?
