One of our members posted a video by Emo band My Chemical Romance, titled "Welcome to the Black Parade". Well, I thought it would be a jazzy little New Orleans style number, with plenty of brass instruments and dancing Negroes. I was wrong.

Instead, it's a bizarre death cult video, in which the band members use subliminal imagery to assert that their Emo death cult is actually OK with Jesus!

Observe what I saw on the guitarist's shoulder at 2:16 in the video!

I used to listen to this band. Now I realize how stupid I was and how stupid they still are.

You guys are joking right? It's a BAND. A genre of music, known as hard rock, punk, NOT a cult. I've been a Christian for a long time and my father helps pastor a Church. I'm not worshiping the music, and just a huge fan. If they're not taking over my life, then I see no issue. They want people to LIVE, not die, they've said so many times. The Holy Bible says to beat your children hard and often. Don't worry about hurting them. You may break a few bones and cause some brain damage, but it isn't going to kill them. And even if they do die, they'll be better off. They'll thank you in heaven for beating the hell out of them. I guess your father isn't a Christian.
