Did you know that, depending on the circumstances, the punishment for being a rape victim can be death (Deut. 22:23-24), being forced to marry the rapist (Deut. 22:28-29), or being scourged (Lev. 19:20-22)? Also it is possible to get pregnant from rape, I know several people who have but they didn't abort the child they put it up for adoption.

How much did it cost then? How does it cost now?

During the sanctions era, there was an oil-for-food programme. What was the $ equivalent price for oil then, in real terms, compared to now?
