THIS is typical of the papists. They get one thing right, then ruin everything by apologizing for it.

Cardinal apologizes for linking gay parade to KKK

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago's Cardinal Francis George is apologizing for remarks comparing an annual gay rights parade to a Ku Klux Klan rally.

In a Chicago Tribune interview, George said he is "truly sorry for the hurt my remarks have caused."

George said he has gay and lesbian family members, and his remarks "evidently wounded a good number of people. I am sorry for the hurt."

The cardinal's initial remarks last month were prompted by plans by gay pride leaders to route a parade at a time that would have interfered with services at a church. He said it resembled anti-Catholic marches once staged by the Klan. The time of the parade was changed.

Gay rights groups condemned his comments.

An official of The Civil Rights Agenda, which called for George's resignation because of his remarks, said Friday that he is pleased by the cardinal's apology. Anthony Martinez, executive director for the gay rights group, said George has set a good example of leadership by admitting he was wrong.

What he should have done was apologize to the Ku Klux Klan!

I agree 100%, what an embarrassing moment for those KKK folk, I'd be demanding an apology at once. Unfortunately the cathlicks would rather defend the fags in order to preserve a nice "positive" image of themselves. Pfft.

Yeah. If the Catholics offend fags too much how will they ever recruit new priests? They walk a fine line between publicly being Christians and privately recruiting fags to molest children. And all the while collecting millions from the poor. Can't be easy for them.

Truly is the devil's work. I never used to get it while I was unsaved, but it's like the same way Justin Bieber has sold so many singles and gathered so much fame..satan sells, old but true saying. Same with the cathys they don't care about our salvation they just care about making that money and miraculously enough (sarcasm, as satan provides them with all the help they need) they remain some of the richest congregations in the world lol.

When you've managed to dupe people for centuries that the way to get into Heaven is to kiss bits of dead people and ask their ghosts to talk to God for you getting them to cough up cash so you will put in a good word with God for them is child's play. Classic con trick mentality: get them to believe the big lie then the small lie that nets you the payoff goes unnoticed.

And all the while souls go to Hell and the cardinals get fatter with a side benefit of a regular supply of kids to fiddle with.

And then apologize to Jesus for the Catholic "Church"'s pretense that the Roman pagan cult has anything to do with Him.
